PXG... C'mon man! Get over yourself Bob. They are good clubs, but they aren't THAT good.

Really want them to sign Tiger to a contract. Not for clubs but for ads. I mean sure toss clubs at him too but c'mon how hilarious would it be if PXG did an ad with him and at the end, Bob looks at Tiger and says "what do you think about them?" and he just looks dead in the camera and holds his tiger head cover and says "They'rrrrreeeee GGGGRRRRRREEEAAAT!"

Not sure if this was supposed to be funny or not. Either way, you missed the mark.

Was going for a joke. Like the old Nike ads with Frank.

Used to love Adams when they made great clubs, especially irons. Now that Taylormade has corrupted the brand they no longer are in my bag. My son has my old CB2's and will not give them up.

Cobra is a brand I don't consider, maybe because I used to consider them the cheap Titleist brand. They do produce good clubs now, though.

Callaway. I think their clubs are ugly, the logo is ugly, and their recent "lifestyle brand" marketing rubs me the wrong way. I realize my attitude is childish and petty, but I'm entitled to that opinion. All that being said, they've been making some really good clubs over the last couple of years. So I give them credit for that. I just wouldn't play them, even if they were better for my game.

I think I lost a bit of respect for Callaway when they really started selling all of those "boxed sets" and those clubs that were geared more towards sporting goods stores and not so much golf stores. Plus I felt like the Diablo was a design dud along with the N-14 and a few other afterthought products. I get that they're going after quantity and a good portion of the market by addressing people who are newer to the game or looking to buy on a budget but just concerning that they dropped in quality overall.

Plus the stories I heard about the original supersoft golf ball really put a dent in my faith.

Bombtech... I'm not pulling the pin!

Lol I'm right there with you but look at my Sig. It's like a crack pipe I can't put down. That driver head just flat out works for me. I know they make other stuff now too and I wouldn't touch that but the driver is a really good design.

I will not play PXG. I think Bob is selling over hyped and over priced snake oil. Also, he talks about all this inequality in golf for women, like he's the great protector of women... all the while he has no problems using half naked women to sell his godaddy website. Just seems hypocritical to me... to be a protector of women, then use women to sell a website.

I also think mtnbiker5 is bob parsons posting on golfwrx... literally every post he makes is hyping pxg.

Mizuno.........Strictly because of a situation with their CS here in the USA. Had a set of nice blades that came from Japan (I was on an AF Base and they were a trade in from some guy who just came back from there). The 7 iron broke half way in the hosel, so I give CS a call and the guy couldn't give me the time of day, was a real you know what and tells me, "go call Japan". So I did and the guy from Japan bent over backwards, even checking the warehouse and finally told me he was sorry, but that I should send the club to Golfsmith and they could most likely fix it. That incident just totally turned me off..............

I associate Callaway with the elderly, so I'll never game them. Which is sad because Callaway has made some amazing clubs in the last few years that I'll never enjoy because I mentally associate them with being an old man club. I'm also not that smart.

Mizuno I'll never game because I'd never be able to play an entire Mizuno bag top to bottom. I've heard they make fantastic irons, but I've tried their woods and wedges and wasn't impressed. However, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I think Cobra clubs are hideous.

Currently in the bag building process and the only brands I'm considering are PXG, Taylormade, PING and Titleist. No club outside of those 4 OEMs will ever touch my bag. Again, I'm not that smart.

There is no brand that I will not consider if I like the club. I personally prefer TM and usually shy away from Callaway and Titleist, but current bag has way more Callaway than TM and the same amount of Titleist as TM.

I won't play Titleist. They make most their revenue from ball sales and spend heavily to create a tour association and make people think their balls are better than others, which they aren't. Throw in Cameron, with $3000 009 putters that are clones of the Scottsdale Anser and that seals the deal for me.

Nike, Wilson, not a fan of TaylorMade because of all the false hype. If what they say is true and every driver is longer, we should be hitting the ball 400 yards with ease. Callaway is just as bad but I have had such great support from their customer service over the years, I could play their stuff.

I tend to gravitate toward Ping and Titleist because their launch cycles help keep my equipment relevant longer.

If they work for me, I will play them. One-brand I most likely will not play is a Titleist Scotty Cameron putter because of cost. I'm not questioning their quality, I question whether a golfer like me can take advantage of that quality. So I don't play them and feel I can putt just as well with an Odyssey, TaylorMade, ping, etc putter.

The prices on the Tour Cameron's are obscene. You could get a beautiful, highly customized Bettinardi/Machine/Byron Morgan/etc for half the price of a run-of-the-mill Circle T. I don't know which I blame more, the manufacturer or the consumers that will pay those extortionate prices. Titleist just rubs me the wrong way for some reason...

2 brands for me.

Titleist golf balls. Obviously a good ball that in reality is no better than any other premium ball. However, I went to see a client of mine who had turned Pro and was contracted to Titleist golf balls. Whilst with him I saw how many balls he is given on a monthly rota...amazing..AND I WAS PAYING FOR THEM....so, I stopped and never used them since.

Secondly, Taylormade. I bought a set of Burner irons a few years back after a custom fit fitting with TaylorMade. When the clubs turned up I had trouble hitting them and after a few weeks one of the heads fell off and another head became loose. It turned out that the clubs themselves had been fitted with second hand shafts that still have glue inside and hadn't been cleaned.

The clubs played a lot stiffer because of the amount of glue in the tip and the new glue fitted wasn't enough to hold the heads.

When I complained TaylorMade after a few weeks they had absolutely no interest in helping me and even though my professional golfer intervened, they ignored and didn't want to help.

A terrible, right bunch of shysters !!!!
