I've figured it out... mtnbiker5 is actually bob parsons.... every post he makes is about PXG. He must be paid to do it.

So mtnbiker's avatar is informative, i didn't know Bob could run that fast.

Subtle but classy changes. Looks less Ping-y looking without the white line in the bottom groove.

 

You nailed it. I hate the white bottom groove line..esp on the darkness. I'm hoping these heads are more compact. The original 0311T's were a little large for me...

Thanks? Ha - I haven't updated that in a while. Also, all my troubles come from not hitting greens. If my approach game was better I would probably be a 5 or less, but here we are...

I'm sure these are good clubs, but so are the others, still wouldn't buy them though.

 

In terms of looks, I like this generation compared to the original.

They should come out with some milled pure blades (not hollow) to match their 0311T wedges. Pricey but beautiful.

Wow. I have absolutely no doubt these clubs are better than the first release and I bet the numbers would show it. They won't release a new product replacement unless significantly better than the old. Boo ya baby! LA BOOM! Love it

These look very nice, not crazy about the larger PXG emblem though. Would like to see how they perform against the gen 1 0311Ts.

Some subtle changes but I like it. I will say I was actually a fan of the white line on the bottom groove.

Original 0311’s came out in what? 2015? so hopefully we see a refresh soon!

At least a 3 year gap would make people think they’ve improved them even if they haven’t. Taylormade already has its M5 and M6 clubs on deck ready to go!

To each his own. I've never liked the looks of PXG irons.. way too busy looking for me. The funny thing is, I played with two guys in a tournament last year that had both been to Vegas for a fitting and had full bags of PXG everything. I think the clubs are ugly, but seeing full bags of them was so different it almost looked cool, if that makes any sense. Of course I couldn't get past the total value of the equipment, quite an investment.....

I'm hearing after 60+ prototypes over the past couple years, Bob P. finally approved new iron lines.

 

0311T, 0311 and 0311XF next gen set to ship May/June!

I just bought the older version two weeks ago and PXG is offering the new irons to me for $125 per club...so quite a deal. The only info I have is that the ball speed will be an increase of 3 mph....which means another club in distance! My wedges are now obsolete!

I'm assuming only due to him purchasing so close to the new release. Our rep is being very transparent with any new fittings about them waiting if they can until May for the new gen

If they squared off the toe to make the iron head smaller like a TL Box Toe they would look much better in my opinion.

Definitely interested in learning more about the gen 2 irons and what changes were made.

Less offset would be a positive especially in the 0311 and 0311xf models.
