Are you sure you understood the question? Even on a really tough track I find it hard to believe a plus caps lifetime best ball score is anywhere near par.

Great question. I’ve birdied or eagled every hole at my course. Claim to fame is an eagle on the hardest par 4 on the course, a hole out from 135.

 

Some holes definitely took longer than others. :)

Eagles on the four par fives=-8

 

Eagles on four of the par fours=-8 (twice on the #3 handicap hole and once on the #1)

 

Birdies on the other six par fours=-6

 

Birdies on three par threes =-3

 

One HIO on a par three=-2

We have 27 holes. I have birdied all of them, eagled two of them. So either -19 or -20 depending on which combination of nines.

 

In fairness though, I have played the course well over 1,000 times so most of that is the blind hog finding an acorn. There are a few holes I’ll likely not birdie again any time soon.

I've holed out for eagle on one of our par 5's and had two Holes-in-one on two of the par 3's and birdied all the others so 51 (72-21) would be my "Superscore".

Just realized after looking this up I've never birdied #14 (Par 4)...from any tee box.

I know guy about my age (pushing 60) who has played the same course several times a week since he was about 23 years old. Good player, scratch or a bit better.

 

He claims to have eagled every hole on the course, double-eagled the Par 5’s and holed out for ace on one driveable Par 4. I find that hard to believe but for a player who hits it that good I guess anything is possible over the course of 4,000+ rounds.

It's called RINGERS at our club. Our club pro runs a nice tournament schedule for our membership and scores from our tournaments count towards your season long RINGER score. I won it once, about ten years ago with a 23-under par 49. That's my best ringer score for one season by a four shots. (13-birdies and 5-eagles)

 

In the current season I am at 17-under par with plenty of tournaments remaining on the schedule, so who knows.
