I won't buy another new OTR Scotty until the inserts are gone.

They feel like mush with very little feedback, and the new line has even MORE of the 3M dampening tape behind the insert so it will give even less feedback.

Don't like the price increase either. At 425.00, you may as well get into a custom putter.

The price is increasing again?

That's ridiculous and you're right...for that price, spend an additional $75 and get a custom!

Seriously, this line just comes off as lazy. I know we hear the broken record argument of, if he gave the people what they wanted on the retail line the Circle T’s lose value. But get outta here, very differentiated and segmented markets with two very different customers.

Why is Bettinardi able to release solid heads, carbon releases and generally just listening to the feedback of the everyday customer without compromising their tour putters, but Scotty is not? Not to mention their limited releases like the recent Raw series, that is EXACTLY what I’ve seen countless people on here ask Scotty to go back to, and he could easily do it even as a supplement to the existing insert focused line.

It’s just frustrating to see a great brand stagnating their products like this, almost like they are bored and lack their original inspiration. Reminds me of Apple.

Now, don’t mind me as I go order my new Strokes Gained blade...

i used to look forward to this... now meh. ill keep my solid older models, studio stainless, np2 ct, np aop carbon, etc. and as others have stated, at $425, why not just go a hair more for a fully custom, anything you want, shape, finish, aids, color strokes, mannkrafted, lajosi, even a byron?

It’s a PuttOut training aid, I think.

That’s actually the one great product in this post! Haha!

I LOVE my PuttOut, it’s a great feedback tool. Can bring it anywhere, and it was cheap.

I couldn't agree more. Do they not listen to the consumer or are there enough sales to ignore the legacy customer that isn't buying these insert putters?

That’s why no one on tour uses these or the last 3-4 years worth of models. The feel is terrible... I don’t know what consumer feedback they get but it can’t be good or they’re lazy / stubborn. I was a collector but the last couple of years have really turned me off. I don’t get it

Just very disappointed in the new line. My Tel2 Santa Fe is just a beautiful putter that draws attention and feels as good as it looks. These look terrible and the feel matches the look. This is classic Titleist management....ride the same old story pushing the legacy of quality marketing crap instead of really innovating or pushing the envelope a bit. They have the most used ball, putter and wedges on tour...I get it but I won't buy it just for that piece of marketing hype.

I don't mind the cosmetic changes he has made, but there is no feel. I tried to like the last series of Select putters, but there is a difference from is carbon putters. It's not so much the feel, but the busy look with the new models that put me off. I'll stick with my plane Jane tour Newport, no lines or stamps.

Confused by the PuttOut trainer there at the end. Did Scotty "invent" one of those too? I have one and they are great putting practice tools.

I don’t think you will ever see anything more aesthetically simple (meaning naked sole, three cavity dots, etc) as this would put custom shop out of business with out having ability to personalize putter. So I don’t ever see things changing in the branding marks or traditional dots.

**also, in regards to older “Circa” head shapes, was told by Scotty there is not enough of a market for these heads. I don’t agree with Mr. Cameron as I see more people playing older Tei, Circa head shapes, Monterey or #3 (very popular), over the many mallet style heads that have came and gone. Most the guys I have seen that have played same putter for years, are older style heads, and seem to have lost interest around time California line was shelved.

Jeez. I was hopeful that Scotty would move away from the 3-dots but looks like he's doubling-down instead.

But I can see how financially, having more dots will give the Custom Shop more ways to make money on custom paintfill.
