Can anyone legit check this shaft for me? As the picture shows the heat label does not overlap so I am a little unsure on the legitimacy. Been wanting one for my 917 D3 for a long time.

Would anyone who produces very low spin with their driver (avg 2000 rpm) recommend this shaft looking for a higher launch/ carry? I currently hit the ball very low with my Aldila Rogue Max X.

Legit. You'll notice almost all of the counterfeits are in 5 (more common in the BB shafts) and 6 weight regular and stiff flex, as well as the orange color scheme. The shaft in question being a 7X is highly unlikely to be a fake, but combine it with the fact that it has an etched serial number, the hologram sticker, the white sticker near the butt end, and the WDI7-X markings you're in the clear.

I’m gonna say it’s legit...I can make out the overlap around the Tour AD and extending up the shaft...but the pic can def be better

AD DJ...looked OK but I missed the engraved number on the label with my "not paying attention to detail" self. Wrap seems right, can feel the overlay, lettering, and the ribbed feel...Made in Japan "S" for shaft is there and looks correct...seems just like my known real DI 85.

 

However...I took off the grip and...

...it is a 3w shaft so I expect the butt cut may have taken out the holo and AD sticker or they were removed but no engraved serial where it should be. Not sure if really old (from 2011?), some weird OEM blem, or just fake. Who would tattoo a serial there and why is it only 7 digits? The number at the butt is chopped off (XGJB) so I can't really go off that and I don't know what code the DJ should be.
