I think he was using a Nike driver all of last year only to recently switch to the M3 in Dubai. Maybe he already switched by the Hero World Challenge, I'm not sure.

no doubt!!....wish the photographer would take more (regularly). I was surprised to see that TF isn't as "spot on" with a short iron.....and also surprised he would keep the club that long before getting a new iron (must be Miura Nikes :) ).

Don't be so sure. I wouldn't surprised at all if he just put a new set of Nike irons in the bag. Also wouldn't be shocked if he had some different wedges in his bag soon.

What is tommy's Go to ball flight?

 

I only watched him in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but it appeared to me that his go to shot is a baby draw. He was absolutely on fire with that shot in Abu Dhabi.

 

He wasn't the longest guy, but he hit shots so solidly. The sound off his clubs was mesmerizing.... I loved watching him from tee to green.

I wonder how long he will stay free agent, being a defending race to dubai champion, it won't be cheap to sign him. Companies will have to reach deep to get him on their stables......if I had to guess, he will sign with Callaway or other manufacturer that doesn't force him to change that putter......

You may be right, but he has been using the Callaway wedges for about a year now.

It's been an interesting bag over the last few months.

 

There were really few changes from the time that Nike gave up until October. In October he put a 917D in the bag and played well at Carnoustie and up until the end of the season. He then started the season with the M3 in the bag but now there is a 917F and a Titleist 4 iron appearing.
