Let's assume we have a private jet for transport as well so ...and 36 a day.....or actually on June 21st each year Riviera, Bel Air, LACC have a summer solstice tournament where they play all three courses in the same day. They have the most daylight and would love to do that.

Day 1 - summer solstice tournament so Riviera, Bel Air, LACC

Day 2 - fly up to Monterrey and hit 2 rounds at Cypress Point

Day 3 - SFGC for MPCC

I have played Pebble, Cal Club, Bel Air, Olympic Club, Pasatiempo, Poppy Hills, Sypglass, Mayacama (great course btw) so didn't pick those

With an unlimited budget, there's no reason why you can't play anywhere in the state over the course of 3 days with a private jet.

Day 1. AM Pebble, PM MPCC Shore

Day 2. AM Cypress, Jet to LA, PM Riviera

Day 3. AM LACC, PM Bel Air.

If I only had 3 rounds to play I would probably do Cypress Point, Riviera, LA CC.

If I had to stay in one location, then I'd choose Pebble Beach. Cypress, Pebble, MPCC (Shore and Dunes) and Spyglass.

Great topic. Lots of fun to think about.

Looks like you beat me to the private jet idea and your solstice tourney is brilliant. *bows down*

I'm not making up the summer solstice tournament, they actually play it. I know because I was playing at Bel Air (where I won a charity round) and was the only one at the small driving range when one guy drove up in a cart, blonde and skinny. He was hitting it real well and was only there maybe 7-8 minutes and walked past me again and said good luck out there today to each other. It was Jack Wagner the actor who is a scratch golfer. They were playing the Summer Solstice tournament that day. Wow what a day that would be huh?

Yup. That sounds amazing. I'm adding it to the bucket list. Doubt I will ever have the opportunity, but if I do, I'm jumping on it.

Never heard of that actor, but there are probably loads of successful actors that I've never heard of before. Entertainment industry is massive. How was your round at Bel Air? I've heard good things. I could see the fairways from some of my classrooms at UCLA but never got the opportunity to play a round there.

It was great just to have the opportunity to play there really with all the history and mystic. Loved it. I used to coach at UCLA 98-01 and had to wait 15 years to play it after I left.)

Day 1: Riviera

Day 2: Cypress Point (+ The Preserve if there's time)

Day 3: Mayacama

There are about a dozen world-class courses just in the Bay-ish area alone though...PB, Spyglass, Spanish, CPC, Tehama, Preserve, Bayonne, Poppy Hills, Mayacama, SFGC, Cal GC, Olympic...
