I personally always wonder if he’s ever going to ditch that hideous bimatrix shaft. Technology marches on and it is a relic, but he sure seems to dig it. I guess if it ain’t broke don’t try and fix it.

iblade 2 iron but keeps his S55, will he ever change those S55, we know they won't break so Bubba most likely retires before those irons are not playable

Sometimes is not about the gaping but about the shot making capabilities. I bet he can hit enough different shots/yardages with each club that he cares less about the distances they travel and more about the trajectories and spin combinations. A thousand ways to try and get safely in to tight fairways (or likely a certain par 3)

His clubs are all facing the wrong way! Seriously, I wish he would start to get in the mix again on the weekends. I enjoy watching him shape shots and do things you ordinarily don't see the average pro do. Also it is so cool to see a pro gaming a Redwood. My favorite Ping putter ever.

If you count them up, he has 15 clubs, so obviously the 2 iron/hybrid is Jordan Spieth style. He uses 1 of the 2 depending on fit for the specific course.

I feel for the guy; he clearly has psychological issues that prevent him from consistently performing at the highest level. A good therapist could help him a lot

I feel like I'm one of the few that likes Bubba. Hits crazy shots, does everything differently, seems charitable outside of golf.

 

He does have a terrible attitude on occasion, but everyone has flaws. I'm not going to kill him for it.

I really want to like the guy. I too have struggled with mental health issues but I just can’t get over the walking contradiction that he is. I have a hard time trying to mesh the over the top bible thumping with the outright abuse he lays on his caddy and other people. You want to bible thump like Ben Crane or 1/2 the other guys on tour, cool. You want to have an attitude and get fired up like Tiger and Pat Perez, cool. You want to talk about Jesus and then drop every four-letter word in the book on your caddy, that’s a problem.

Great comparison, I am a fan of Bubba and don’t get the hate towards him while at the same time I do not like Rahm one bit for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Interesting. Lol
