TP Mills - Post your Putter

@toophewbirdies what is that center of gravity tool called? The closest thing i can think of is a plumb bob?

So did a lot of research on the putter above. Made mid 80's with high chance of it being Caron. Pencil shaft that is fluted. The grip is a leather GP grip that still as life left. Just amazed how a mass produced putter feels so good. Tons of feedback and buttery feel on the sweetspot. I know there were design my TP Mills and produced by Spalding, but still, amazing feel. I'm sure the handmade are incredible

For those of you with torched finishes on your stainless Mills putters, how have they held up? I play mostly early mornings and I’m curious how that finish wears over time when exposed to moisture, fertilizer etc.

so nice!!...silly question but did you test or hit these anywhere prior to purchasing? I want one very badly but nobody in my area has these in their shops.....how do you go about getting "fitted"??

Not sure a fitting is possible, these putters aren't in golf shops for the most part. Maybe some in Alabama though. Unless you happen to come across a used one at your local golf shop take your chance on a head shape and material (carbon or stainless) you like and look for a good deal on ebay or on here. If you get one for a reasonable price and don't like it you could always try and resell it.

For my Sycamore, I just measured my favorite putter and sent him the specs and we tweaked a few just for what I thought I would like. For my later ones I bought a couple of used ones on ebay that were similar to what I was thinking to order and used those as my "fitting" for length/lie/offset/etc, then sold them off for pretty much what I had paid for them.

Received this Mills Sycamore from David last week, 30 days approx from ordering to delivery. Thanks to Craig Ahnert for his help with this putter order, always a pleasure dealing with him!.. Stainless steel, quarter toe hang, solid Mills feel. Now, will probably send it over to OneAugusta for his stellar torch jobs ! Enjoy the pics and let me know if any questions.

Any info on this? Just won it. Understand the T in the cavity is for the TIG weld. Just want to make sure this is legit. I know there were some Japan issues TMP, that used the name and not real tmp.

The other thread made me thInk about this one. I went from 0 to 3 Mills within 3 months of getting my first one. I've been lucky enough to talk on the phone with Dave, and he sure seems to be one of the good guys.
