Funny thing about that 6 hybrid is that it's used as his 4 iron. David Woods either had an instagram post or story a few weeks back showing him testing it out. Very interesting but it makes sense considering how weak the rest of his irons are.

I don't understand how he still gets into PGA tour events. When was the last time he won anything? I haven't checked the FedEx Cup rankings from last year, but was he in the top 125?

 

I've always considered this to be one of the better events on tour...just surprised he qualified for it.

Sam Saunders has done more in the past year than Camilo...at least it seems that way to me. I've seen Sam on leaderboards much more than Camilo.

I know people bash CV but he was 96th in Fedex standings last year, finishing ahead of guys like Piercy, Furyk, Kizzire, Donald, Walker. I didn't know it was so easy to win on the PGA tour.

When the SLDR driver was out anyone know what loft he played? I believe his M2 2016 driver was always the HL Head.

Crazy de loft on his swing.

 

He seems to be primed for a comeback, been training alot and finally fixing his shoulder issues. He is also the most physically fit player on tour (even though he might not be on tour this season?). I think its all about mental approach. He made alot of money and got married. That seems to be recipe for game decline.

 

Would be nice to see him back. I give him serious props for starting the "golf fashion" trend.

His bag is always a little wonky. I know he de-lofts it a touch but a 6 hybrid is crazy. Does he practice with YE Yang a lot?

Pretty sure he weakens the lofts on his irons. I think he is a low ball hitter, hence all the hybrids, hl woods, and weak lofted irons.
