The 90's sounds like a blend of the spin doctors, third eye blind and sugar ray. Thats all i hear when i think about it.

Oh my god, no. The 80's had some absolutely horrible stuff. Some good stuff too - but tons of awful, awful stuff.

That would be Sisqo, I remember that due to a Time Magazine interview I read in some waiting room where they were comparing his name with the computer network company and the food company. Incredibly dumb song for sure.

So it's not really a 'The Worst Song' thread but more of a 'A song that was popular that I hated the styling' thread. There was some truly terrible music released during the 90's just like every other decade. Go listen to some of the Rolling Stone songs from that period. It was just sad.

Actually, what stand out with the 90`s was that nothing was really bad, on a whole. The iron curtain fell, www was new, no terror stuff to talk about. No ”protest against the decade before” and so on. Fashions wasnt as extreme as in the 70’s and 80`s. And that was reflected in the music. Not epic stuff like in the 70’s but nothing ridiculous either. I have a hard time find anything really bad. Was Ice Ice Baby 90’s? In that case, theres one candidate.
