For a guy like AS that has used the same irons for years, are they actually the same ones or do they have a stock of them locked away in a closet?

 

I've often wondered about that as well. He can't be playing the same sticks all these years, right? They have to have more for him.

The commentators on Live where saying how well he was driving it...shame about the rest.

 

He doesn't look too far off, just needs to find some consistency. Played plenty of great golf this week but that was offset by some sloppy stretches.

I'm at the stage of waiting for the loose shot to happen. Glad that he made the cut, getting some more golf in should be a good thing. Riveria doesn't seem to be the place to go to when you are looking for your game...next week will probably be the same but hopefully it will start to come :)

I'm usually not a big Titliest bag fan, always think they're boring. But how can you think that bag is boring...

 

Interesting wedge set up: 48 / 53 / 58 / 60. Wonder if the 60 actually has some additional loft on it or if he's just playing around with a different set up (choosing between the 58 and 60)?

maybe the 60 has less bounce - uses it opened up and whatnot?

I’m sure it’s a grind/bounce difference.....there have been times where I’ve pulled 60 and wish I had my other (with different sole) for conditions at that moment...outta long grass or firm turf vs. soft sand...dunno maybe that’s why?

the 910 is curious. Seemed like he still had distance with it. Anyone run the comparison to his newer gamers to see the stat diff yet?

Is it just me or is Adam trying to rekindle some magic from his Master's win in 2013? During the PGA Championship, it looks like he has went back to the black Tour AD DI shaft in the driver and KBS shafts in the irons. No to mention the broomstick putter.
