Worst (best?) is I have 2 identical Maxfli DP30 Australian Blade from 1989. Bought them a couple of years ago since I was stupid enough to sell my first set of DP30 around 2005.

These are my gamers and my backup.

 

On top of that I had at one moment in time another 2 sets of Australian Blade. But those were modern, the blades from around 2000.

I have 4 sets of protos forged for me in China, one set Kenmochi, Cleveland Classic CB, Maxfli Revolution black dot.

Happy I cleaned out some weeks ago.

 

No, my wife does not understand but she is nice and let me have this fetish.

Each set came in very uniquely too. The Adams were a starter set I got as a gift when I graduated high school. I never played golf before though and really didn’t understand why I got golf clubs.

 

Sophomore year of college I started playing golf with my friend and my roommate. I was hooked instantly. He had a bargain bin DCI 981 5iron left over he used to hit rocks with; I found a set on eBay 3-p missing the 5 iron, a perfect match.

 

Wanted to try my hand at blades, the MacGregors arrived at my door for a mere 75 dollars. And they were fantastic.

 

I graduate college and what do you know? Another graduation gift of Ft Worth 15 irons for only $250 courtesy of Hogan’s restructuring.

 

And finally, after an entry into the Ben Hogan PTx giveaway, a message is received telling my that I had won, and after my first round with them on Tuesday, they aren’t going anywhere!

Been thinking about getting a second backup set to leave in car while I leave main set at the club. Do you guys clone your main set or use as opportunity to try something different? I play mizuno mp63 which I will demote. I have been thinking about going for MP15 or TM770 as my main.
