690.MB. Bought them last month on a whim, and haven’t gamed them yet. Loved the feel and look not to buy them for the price

 

The 690.MB is a great iron. Mine came with the Nippon 970 Titleist shaft. It's a great pairing.

At least 20, maybe 25. But only one set was ever purchased as a new set, and they were custom ordered from Ping. And I ended up disliking the shafts in them but loved the old Ping i5 head. I just wait until the stuff I wants can be bought on fleabay for $100.

I have 2 sets and I don't know why. My main set is Ping i25's which I play well with, about a year and a half ago I bought a set of Mizuno MP-60's that were mint, maybe hit two or three times. That's when I noticed a change in my game for the worse. I need to get rid on one set but which I just don't know, as I like qualities of both. One set would be a whole lot easier on the game.

I have 1 set of AP2 714 6 to PW, and a couple of sets of AP1 712. I like to mix them up according to my mood. I always play the AP2 PW. I have given a few of the AP1's away, like 9-iron and PW. I also have 1 or 2 more current AP1 6-irons.

Always had one set in rotation. Unless I had a secondary residence or a trunk set, I only want to game one set of irons. They would likely be the same anyways

 

I do have a vast 2-4 iron collection and lots of wedges for different conditions.

 

Not being an iron ho has allowed me more flexibility to get the toys I care about
