Great for TV, poor for spectators. 12 is a bit eerie at times, because fans can't get up to view the green. The scene at 18 was great last year.

 

This. 12 is a great hole, but the closest the fans can get is the tee box, so you wouldn't have anyone around the green for the playoff, which would be strange. It's actually got to be pretty cool for the players that you hit your tee shot on 12 and then, for a little while, it's almost like you're just out playing a round of golf with your buds as there are no fans around 12 green or 13 tee. I wonder if that's the only time it's really quiet the entire year on tour.

Though 12 wouldn't happen, at this point with all the changes and the money this place has, it probably wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that they just build a tunnel under the course and shuttle people to the holes that they have selected for playoffs.
