New Odyssey EXO 7 - Shot @ 2018 Valspar

Recommended Posts

Really cool flat stick. I wish they would have made it completely black or completely red though. Not sure I like the mashing of colors but I understand why they did it to highlight different materials.

Nothing Justin and the guys at Continental can't remedy. I sent them my O works red 7s and had them black it out, since the OEM black 7S came with sightline instead of the dots like on the red 7s.

Pics?

Different insert, different putter. A lot different.

Yes, but does it really justify doubling the price?

Seems a strange manoeuvre. If it was a special edition or something, maybe, but this is just the newest range as far as I understand.

The $100 difference between Exo and O Works is worth it. The milling and insert plus more forgiveness is worth paying $299 for the Exo over the $199 O Works.

In the UK from the prices I've seen it's more than 100USD of a difference, it's basically double. But I understand the argument. I just think saying the milling is a big reason is somewhat diluted when it's an insert putter. I really like them, don't get me wrong, I just can't see too many people choosing to pay the extra when the normal O-Works are soo much cheaper. I suppose it also will be affected by how many are used on tour. Most of them seem to still be on the white hot putters.

In the States they're $300. Over here they're £330 or approx. $445 with today's exchange rates. Good luck explaining that currency conversion Callaway.

Welcome to the club. Don't feel too bad or left out because the golf industry has been typically hosing Canadians for many years now.
