I don't use the project X models, but just the Royal Flighted 6.0 shafts 3-P. I had used s300's in every set prior these just happen to come installed. They are FAR superior to the s300's. They have a very great feel and trajectory control is very very good with these. I will now exclusively play these flighted shafts from here on out.

I have one on my driving iron and think it is a really good shaft -- next iron set will have them

I have the flighted 6.0 in a set of mizuno mp60/32. I think flighted means the long irons are a flex lower and hard stepped, i.e. 5.5 in mine, for a lower bend point while the short irons are a flex higher and soft stepped for higher bend point. Mid irons are normal 6.0.

 

Doesn't seem to make a lot of difference though as the short irons in this set still launch too high. Would be interesting to push the flighted concept more and 2x soft step/increase stiffness in the short irons like spinner wedge shafts.

I had a set of these in my irons for the longest time and swore I'd never change. Then I tried the LZ and those took over but I love the Flighted!
