Note for Canadian's (and others perhaps)

 

Cut was nice enough to offer me some balls up here in Canada after I asked. However, the caveat being that I would have to buy 4doz, and it would cost me $30US to ship them to me.

$30US is a new box of tour-level balls (about equal to $40Cad). And I get that while shipping is expensive, I can't 'try' out a ball with 4doz and spend $40 to ship

 

Looks like CUT is out of luck getting Canadian's to use their product. Vice is able to ship flat-rate $7US to Canada....I guess they get my $ for the 'underdog' for balls for now...

When I saw this post I tried to do the same from my phone last Tuesday. Somehow I ended up ordering and getting the 3-piece sampler which is not what I wanted. Not particularly happy with my experience even though I openly admit that I was the dummy who ordered the wrong item. I offered to buy two sleeves of Blue and eat my mistake if they could ship them out today so I would have them for Wednesday. They are not interested so neither am I and sending them back for a refund and moving on to something else.

 

I think when I went to slide down to change quantity to 2 it switched my order to 3 piece sampler. Was going to try urethane balls on road trip Wednesday/Thursday. Now out of luck. Oh well.

Got my urethane pack and ready to go tomorrow. Has anyone gotten any launch monitor numbers with these balls? I've got several balls that I'd like to check. I may take my scratch golfing buddy and have him hit the Cut balls along with the Snell MTB and Vice Pro+ on GC2.

Played 53 with one ball this week. Was going to get a photo after 54 but I lost it with a snap hook drive on 18. It was pretty beat up as I played a desert course for all 3 rounds but it was better than a Pro V1 at 9.

 

I did notice the last 10 holes or so I was averaging a club less.

I ordered the urethane trial pack, and originally thought I was going to prefer the Grey. The Blue felt much too firm at first when putting, but played it today for a full round. It is a bit longer for me than the Grey, and seems to fly well through the wind. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of spin around the greens. Definitely a great ball for the price.
