!WOW! 1968-2017 masters final round coverage

This is such a great gift. Thanks OP for pointing it out. I love The Masters. I started at 1968 and I'm on 1972 now. I'm going all the way!

YouTube golf is all I watch while I'm holed up in my garage working on my winter projects. (a boat this year) It can play in the background without demanding my strict attention and I can look or rewind when something big happens. A four hour Masters broadcast is just what I need.

Masters! MASTERS!!!

(Sorry... it's the Metallica in me. It always comes out this time of year. ?)

That was my golf team’s hype song before we got off the bus to go play (1988).

Just watched the 79 playoff. Man oh man. Feel so bad for Ed Sneed but geez. Poor guy essentially gives away the Masters and then has his face rubbed in it (albeit very nicely) by Palmer on the set of the Phil Donahue Show. Of course, this was the Disco Era. Just a bad time for everyone.

Bscinstnct always likes to post the video of Tiger's shot into 15 in 2011.

Tom Watson's approach from 1979 is even better. A 3 wood from 235 into the wind?

Like Woods, he misses the putt and loses the tournament.

For those who slam today's pros for slow play (that's me!), watching Faldo (13th in 1996 is almost as long as JB) and Nicklaus, it's clearly been a problem for a while!

Maybe some reasons for the slow play are the additional 500 yards many courses have added, driveable par 4s (I can only recall a few in the 80s...and many pros didn't/couldn't go for it), and virtually every par 5 is now reachable for the entire field?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Jack and Faldo were slow, Langer was ridiculously slow!

They mention it in the 1985 winner's interview, where Langer said he had been fined a couple of weeks earlier.

They asked Jack about Langer's pace earlier and he said he had no room to talk.

I knew Weiskopf was close to winning on several occasions, but his losses may be as bad as Norman's.

Jack likes playing out of water hazards on the last 9 and getting it up and down.

It was a comment made in today's Par 3 tournament that it was like 1978 all over again. And it was, Jack, Tom and Gary all had a chance to win.

Arnie in the 1978 and 1979 interviews....OUCH!!!

And they used the extra caddies not carrying a bag to fix the ball marks, that's the weirdest take for me.

Didnt know the last days were available at youtube. Just picked one I had fluffy memories from apart from that jump. Phil 2004.

The early 2000`s are quirky since 2010 wasn’t really start of a new decennium. We’re still like in the early 2000’s So 2004 as a number, and somewhat in my mind is not so long ago. But man, Ernie and Phil was young men. Sergio almost a boy.

And man, what a back nine! I didnt remember that it was so good. The 2005 showdown btw tiger and diMarco I got on DVD and remember well. But 2004 was almost better! Ernie going really strong, a lot of birdies in the middle of the round, and making no mistakes on 16-18, to take the clubhouse lead. And Phil with the bare facts on 18th tee: Birdie you win, par tie and bogey you give it away to Els. But he was radiant all the way up the fairway, gleaming with anticipation. Approach shot to perfect distance to set the stage for drama and rest is history. As happy as Tiger earlier this year.

Going into the dark period up here on the 60th parallel, I will sure have some good entertainment in the darkening evenings!

Ya know, the 1973 Masters with only 1/3 hour of coverage is really underrated. I'm shocked it's not in the top 5. Tommy Aaron mano a mano vs JC Snead. One for the ages.
