M3 vs Rogue SZ Fairway

Thanks - yeah, I'd thought of that, but didn't want to end up with a 3W that goes nearly as far as the driver. That's why I switched from the M1...but if that ends up being my only option (going with the 3+), I guess I'll need to make the change - I love the HZRDUS in 83 grams and love how I can feel the club head throughout the swing and control the shot (left/right) better than I could with the M1.

 

Soooooo.....I guess if I end up with a 3W that's a bit longer than I'd like, it's still an improvement over the last one. Thanks again.

Any more comparisons between the Rogue SZ and TM M3 3 woods please?

 

Just bagged the Rogue SZ 5 wood and contemplating the 3+ as I've got a demo from my club with the same PX Even Flow Blue shaft....but I wanted to gauge if the M3 (or the CBX) is worth a try as well and to not be an automatic Callaway fan boy!

 

For me the 3 wood is to be used only off the tee at my club for 3-4 holes and a maybe a few more in the Summer if the Driver isn't behaving...

I'm a very high ball hitter too and my fitter put me in the Rogue Sub Zero 13.5* with a Atmos TS Red 8X... so low angle head but high launching shaft at 83 grams. Not sure how that works out technically but it sure did work. Just ordered the shaft tonight, now I need to find the head. The combo was so accurate and easy to hit. I'm hitting TM m4 driver and like things to match but just couldn't get good results with the M4 or M3 FW's. I ended up with 30 yd gaps between hybrid - 3 wood - driver.
