Cut Golf balls

What course?

Pheasant Ridge, I'm from the north hills area outside of Pittsburgh

Looking forward to hearing how the rest of the sleeves work out for you!

Hey, Cut

Any chance you could start the movement in the great-white-north soon? Something with a reasonable shipping option - even so that the few of us GolfWRX members can start to advocate for CUT up here? I mean, outside of these message boards, I am sure most people have never heard of you. Plant the seed early - send us Canadian's a few sample packs to try and then let us brag to our friends. That way, once you get the international shipping sorted out, you have some eager people willing to make some orders.

I would love a trail sleeve/box of the grey and/or blue (Box more, than I can give a few away to the more established and $$ spending people I know)

We actually did a soft launch of international shipping on Friday. You're able to purchase now.

I bought the sample urethane pack. Tested the blue today and was quite impressed with it. Winds were in the 10- 20 mph and the ball held a straight line, high launch. Only lost 1 as I decided to go for it into the wind 205 to the hole over water hit a great 5 wood. Well I didn't make it just a little short...schmuck... otherwise a great ball and I would highly recommend

I really hope the shipping price to Canada gets a little lower! $10US per dozen is pretty steep - If I order three dozen, shouldn’t cost $30 to ship imo. Fix that and you’ll have a ton of northern customers... between May and September anyway.

I didn’t know it stacks! That sucks. I’ve been waiting for Snell Canada to get their Mtb red and black in Canada and I’m getting the best deal of the two competitors

If cut is $10us ($13cad) per doz....that’s a tough sell. I can go to the store and get $50cad premium balls. $20us + $10 + tax ($45cad) for cut is risky and doesn’t offset the middleman savings imo

Ordered these along with a friend to test.

I couldn't resist both the price and the ability to try something new. I am by no means a professional just a low single digit that loves to tinker with and build equipment. A little bit more about me - driver SS around 105, 6 iron around 90. Decent short game, prefer the bump and run to the flop. consider myself a "feel" player/

Here's my review of the 4 piece CUT Blue.

Looks: Glossy compared to a lot of urethane "tour" golf balls. To me they look more like an ionomer ball but they are very soft. I wish the Number was a bit bigger and centered under the "CUT" but if that's my only complaint then were doing good. I had no issue with the line on the side of the ball.

Feel: Soft, very soft. Not to the point where I felt it was a problem. But a little tiny bit squishy. I prefer a bit more an an audible click ( think V1x, or TP5x ) To me this had a lot of the characteristics of an NXT Tour from strictly a feel perspective. Again these are NOT bad things, just trying to help anyone looking to give these a try.

Performance: Great. Full wedge shots hit and stopped, low checkers checked and off the driver it had no noticable effect on my distance. NOTE: Maybe it was me, maybe it was the ball but I would say off the driver I noticed a bit higher ball flight than I usually see. This worked very well considering it was a bit wet when I played recently and carry is a good thing. Half shots didn't produce quite the amount of spin I'm used to but more still very good. It was a bit breezy when playing but I saw no negative effect.

Durability: Fantastic, Never had a wedge shot cut it up and lasted the 9 that I played with it. Only thing that cased a mark was a tree, and thats not CUT's fault.

Overall: As they claim, I will agree - This is the BEST ball you will find for $20 Period! I split 6 dozen with a friend and I will certainly continue to use these. It was my original intention to be VERY honest - to test them for a few rounds and the throw the rest of them into my shag bag for practice, But for the time being I will continue to use these.

We are working on other alternatives. The international option is our soft launch at this time.

In the checkout there is a place for a promo code --- are there any promo codes to be used ?

Also, it looks like the balls are cheaper on amazon....... 1.50 sleeves

But limited to 1 per order, and $5 shipping :(

This is to make sure that the Amazon delivered pricing matches our offering in our store.

I know its not perfect and it entirely depends on geographics, but I am in Canada and about 45 minutes from the border ( 30 minutes in American time --- bad currency joke ) and I had them shipped to a PO box and just picked them up to save the shipping. This also worked well since I split the cost of 6 dozen with a friend.

Either way they are a great value product that preforms extremely well and considering what we are currently paying here in Canada over $60 a dozen for a Pro V1's ( by no means a knock on the product - they are very good ) but with so many options out there its VERY VERY hard to justify.

This is where the CUT balls are so good. I've said it already but its worth saying again - THESE ARE THE BEST BALLS FOR $20 a DOZEN

Agreed, the Blue is a fantastic ball for $20. I would highly recommend for anyone interested.

Played the Cut 4 piece urethane ball for 18. For reference I usually use the x version of whatever ball is out there. My current gamer is the Srixon Z Star XV. I think it’s the best ball in a while and high compression with a soft feel. Loved the TP5X but that thing is not very durable at all.

Cut Ball is pretty glossy. Not really a fan of the gloss as I associate that with a cheaper ball, but it felt soft. Got used to it pretty quick.

The Cut felt good off the driver. No noticeable loss or gains compared to any x version of any other ball. Mid/long irons had a bit more juice than normal. Even on mishits. So probably a little lower spinning than what I am used to. Greenside spin was fine. Maybe less than a V1x or other ball.

Putting ball felt rather soft. I have issues not getting the ball to the hole already so this took an adjustment. Love the alignment aid. Soft ball off the putter. Most players would probably love the softness off the putter.

Durability was good. Played the same ball for 16 holes until I hit it in the water. Still serviceable even hitting full wedge shots.

For $20 a dozen to the door it’s hard to compare anything else. It is by far one of the better balls at that price point. If I had a limited budget I’d definitely play these. It’s hard to compare the Z Star XV because that’s a $40 ball that I got for $20 a dozen. If I had to pay $40 for z stars I’d take the Cuts over those at the price point.

Overall ball kind of felt like an NXT tour or a Q Star. So solid balls overall. Got a sleeve of the 3 piece, but have so many balls already may not get around to gaming them for a while. This ball is great value and performance for about 95% of the people that play golf.

What is the best Cut Ball for someone who wants to shape shots? I’m starting to learn to fade the ball. I’m finding my Callaway Supersofts are working against me. They want to go straight.

You'll want a ball that has more spin to shape them. We'd recommend the Cut Greys or the Cut Blues for this. The Greys will have a slightly softer feel than the Blue as well as having slightly less spin due to the 3 piece construction (Grey) versus 4 piece (Blue).

As I said in an earlier post I should have ordered Greys instead of Blue being a higher spin player. Put one in play for the last 5 holes this past weekend for a good test. Par 5, 4, 4, 3, and a 4 to finish. I'm reluctant to try the Grey ball as the Blue did fine with a few knockdowns, couple of wedge shots and felt great off putts. Sneaked one on 18 @ 324 yards off a fade, so it can fly also.

Had to ride the wind ya know? Playing partner wanted a long drive challenge. I surprised myself with that tee shot. I cannot hit a Cut/fade for the life of me and pulled that off.

Ordered a urethane sample pack. A no-brainier at 12.50.

Will be comparing them to the Vice balls I just got and will choose my ball out of this group.

Be sure to report back. I really like these balls and will be putting the Cut White in play as my ball this year. I hope these small companies stick around because I'd hate to have my gamer and then have it disappear.

I bought a dozen of the Blue and a dozen of the Grey. $49.90 shipped to me.

I like to support new companies coming out and I am more than happy to try these out. I think the claim of best $20 ball out there might be pretty close if not true.

For me they didnt wow me, and $10 shipping was a bit high. The short game wasnt where I wanted the ball to be at. Its a good ball, just im willing to pay the extra for my chrome soft performance I feel I get.

I now have these on my simulator, and they are fairly durable so far. If I was needing a less expensive ball, these would be on my list.

AI Smoke 5w Ventus Red

It was probably 324 carry and back up a little. It’s wet these days,
