How is the PX vs. DG Tour White AMT?

 

PX is lower a flatter flight. But holds a green fine. I feel it's much stiffer than AMT. I'm not 100% sold on either. Hard to beat the standard DG S300.....

 

Used the Futura this weekend. So good.

Woods

917D2 - Diamana Whiteboard D+ 70 Stiff Set to D4.

 

Haven't played a titleist Driver since 913 but this beat my M2 with Tour AD. The M2 was on average 5 - 6 yards longer but the dispersion with the 917 Was silly good. Also feels better. Not crazy about the grey finish but the ball goes straight.

AP2 718 3-PW PX 6.0

 

Was fitted into either these or 2018 Xforged - bought the xforged and realized over some rounds in Florida I couldn't hit them. Plus I hate Callaway so that was that!

 

 

Wedges

SM7 52F 56S 60M PX 6.0

 

Nothing new here - I replace my SM when new ones come out so every 2 years.

 

I tried to drop to 2 wedges but I dont have to because I'm going to rotate hybrid / 3 iron depending on course.

 

Putter

a few tweaks coming.

 

the 917 Driver straight up sucks. I'm sorry it does. It's not long, it's not forgiving and it doesnt really look that good. I haven't played a Titleist Driver since 913.

 

AP2 718 have been absolutely amazing. I've been at the pin all year (about 10 rounds) .

 

i've played with both the PX 6.0 and AMT TOUR WHITE.

Had slightly better results with the PX but i feel like a swing a bit easier with the tour white. The PX 6.0 are pretty stout and lower launching.

The dispersion with the PX is a bit better. AMT tour white are a little longer and long irons launch higher.

 

I might settle with Tour White - Ill take the extra height with the long irons. Also like the DG Stock shaft in the SM7 much more than PX. I don't have any feel with my wedges with PX.

 

I've been putting amazing with the Futura 5W.

haha that sucks. I've played 13 of the last 15 days.

 

No Xforged. Just going to use the stock set of AP2 with tour White. I've tried PX a few times now and while the dispersion is good I can't get used to the feel.

these TMB are great clubs but not for me. The best Irons I've played with this season have been the AP2 718 With PX 6.0.

The newport is back in the bag. Picked up a Newport 34" tonight. Bought it before the round today - putted lights out. Which mans It's going to suck soon enough

I just got rid of my 3 wood and hybrid as well...has eliminated some poor decisions!
