Swing weight SM5 and SM6

I have a 46 deg SM6 and 53 and 58 deg SM5's. The SM6 feels lighter and 'wrong' compared to the other 2 wedges. My other irons are TM RSi 2's with the KBS tour 105 R shaft.

 

Is there a swing weight difference between the SM5's and the SM6? Should I add some lead tape?

The 46* is probably a point or 2 lighter, but it wouldnt be a drastic difference in feel. You can add lead tape to get the feel like you want it.

long term, buy a modern swing weight scale eg from Golfworks,

and a simple Digital Scale.

Then measure the swing weight on all your gear.Then add lead/shaft tip weights to suit.2 gram, 4 gram etc

They may range from D2 to D6.

Its important to go heavy if thats what you like. I do !

Thanks all, lead tape will be applied tomorrow 2g at a time until it feels good.
