Thanks, any other options? I saw something in a thread about yahoo auctions, is that a viable option? Can I pay someone who speaks japanese to help me, anyone out there, never bought JDM before...

You can use Yahoo auctions with a site called Noppin, or I think there a few others. They act as a middleman. The fees are a little high, but if you see something you want, I don't think it's too outrageous.

 

Yahoo auction is addicting as a drug, I have to warn you. When you see a set of classic JDM forged by Miura that looks like it's played a season, if that, going for under $50..... Well, you get the idea.

Jauce is another Yahoo Japan option. Fees are not too bad and the stuff arrives lightning fast and normally in better condition than expected. The Japanese really take care of their equipment in my experience.

 

When the Yen was weaker it was a good deal....

Very nice! I bought something from Jauce. Does anyone know How long does shipping usually take to U.S. after the auction has ended?

I have a lot of JDM irons and I promise you, they are actually not very different from used American irons other than they come with slightly softer shafts and lighter swing weights. I bought a bunch of them foolishly looking for a unique treasure I never found. What I got was some pretty good Irons and wedges all proving useful but that's about it. However, one man's treasure can be another mans garbage. So good hunting to you.

I bought all of them from actual Japanese afficionados that came in plenty in my territory here in the Philippines. We are considerably closer to Japan and many do business in Japan.
