Old Navy Slim Go-Dry Pants - how do they hold up?

I'm looking for a khaki - why won't they do this?!

 

I am pretty sure khaki is coming...it should be one of the new colors in the works. The system we use to order for customers in store shows it but I'm not able to select it yet (meaning it isn't available.) I am keeping a close eye on it!

 

Between those and the light gray, might want to make sure they stock up for us "pant freaks" on WRX.

 

I will be in for multiple. I have never had such a perfect inseam right off the rack, as the 32.

 

I would second this - Old Navy's corporate office needs to be aware of this thread.

It's just an easy choice after spending the coin I have on Nike golf pants. I have paid $110 for a pair of Nike pants, that is about what I spent on 5 pairs of these.

 

Also, with a pre-paid return label, there is just really nothing to lose, even if you think they are terrible.

For $12 or $13, it was real nice when wearing it there. We'll see how it holds up on the course :)

I got 3 of the new colors that came in, it's a great deal for that price. They are definitely thinner and a not quite as soft as some other brands but at $13 I think they look pretty good!

Ok, so we have been talking about the "Slim Go-Dry" pants. What is the difference between these and the "Slim Built-In Flex Dry Quick" pants? I just noticed these online and I'm pretty into this easy peasy color. Also, the polos are pretty legit for $13.

The material is the difference, the go-dry is stretchy polyester and the dry-quick are cotton/nylon/spandex blend.

 

I have the go-dry pants and dry-quick shorts and the feel of the material is quite different.

Ok - haven't used them for golf yet but do in the office. WOW. They fit roughly 1" too long (due to my height, not Old Navy's fault), but aside from that they're awesome. so awesome. so comfy. so stretchy. so breathable. Gonna pick up a few more pairs!

 

When it comes to golf, i love the idea that they can get muddy, dirty or wet and it doesn't break the bank. If you're on the fence, nothing to lose with trying these pants!

Bought all colors of the Built-In Flex Performance Shorts for Men last week when active wear was 50% off. They're coming today. Pretty excited...I work in a golf shop and can't get shorts with my discount for $17 a pop. :)

Received my three pairs in the mail today. Meh. As has been my experience with GAP brands, sizing is all over the board. I’m a 32x30 or 33x30, depending on the fit. Ordered all 33x30 and navy pair is huge, crocodile is large and black is tiny. Now, I get to drive 28 miles to the Mall of America to the only store that has all three in stock. I wish they could get their sizing more consistent.

I received my 2 pairs, yesterday (croc tears & dark grey), and they both fit perfectly in 32x32. These really do seem to live up to the hype that has been posted in this thread. Thanks to everyone that has given their input, and to semarlor for giving us the heads-up on the 50% off sale.

I have worm mine the last 3 times out, just great pants. I have 2x black, 2x gray, 1 navy. I spent more on one pair of the new Nike Flex last Spring.

 

Please release the light gray color ASAP. These would also be a great pant for "white", as they would not be see through I would not think.

Wow...I love these shorts that I got. The material is, if I'm being honest, is a little more tech-fabricy sounding than I'd like, but not by much. They are SUPER lightweight and are going to be awesome when it's very hot. Plus, they are all a heathered material...so each color is going to look great with a solid classic looking polo. Very pumped about these...I think they'd be worth it at $34, but at $17 I'm absolutely over the moon.

 

Would I rather be wearing Linksoul or Travis Matthew shorts? Of course...but at this price? Can't pass it up.

Also, I am almost 6'4" and got the 10" inseam (there's a tall version at 11"). 10" was PERFECT for the length I want to play..just hit the tops of my knees when I have them at my waist. If you are a tall fellow and want more of your knee covered, go with 11".

Got a message today that we will have another 50% Active event on Memorial Day, 5/28. It will be online and in store. Unfortunately, I still don't have an update on new colors. The tiles are shown on my inventory device but are still greyed out (meaning I can't select them to sell or order.) Hopefully I'll have some good news soon!

I just got in a different pair of khaki's today, had been going one size up in waist, as my size is hard to find in stock. I was able to get the preferred size in these, what a sweet fitting pair of pants, seriously like they were tailored.

So here’s another wrinkle (no pun intended). I exchanged the Navy (too big) and Black (too small) pairs of Slim Go Dry Perfeomance pants. The Crocodile Tears were a perfect fit. I received the Navy and Black today and the fit is fine but the Navy pair doesn’t have buttons on the back pockets, while the Black and Crocodile do. What is that all about?

Most likely you have an older version of the navy pair. I have two pair from last year without buttons and two pair from this year with buttons.
