Headcover Style

Since this thread has zombied back to life, and I posted both in 2011 and 2017, I might as well give another update. I've gone back to OEM with a mix of club-specific OEM and generic OEM around a pretty tight black/grey/white color scheme.

Hmm I really like some of the custom ones I've seen around, personally I'd probably go for something quite minimalistic in black and white. I did hear about a woman a few years ago that lives in Australia that made some great pom pom headcovers but forgot her name.

 

In terms of OEM I quite like the colour scheme and design of the latest TM woods/hybrids, not so much the Rogue variety.

 

Seems designs have changed since I bought all of mine, which are your more traditional sock into boxing glove type.

And just like that, I've made another change... this time around, completely unbranded with PU Leather style Driver and 5w, with matching-ish knit 3w and Hybrid. I went with grey in the 3w/Hy to pull together the black/red/white of the PU D/5w and the grey iron covers. The knock-off chinese Odyssey cover is a placeholder from my headcover stash until the black/red version of the TFi 2135 cover above gets here later this week.

PING Hoofer or Callaway Hyper Lite 1+

• John Daly Lion (have had this one going on 13 years now, still going strong)
  
• Barrel Style long-neck plain Navy headcover for Fairway
  
• Old Skool Skinny-stick style hybrid cover (Navy/White)
  

I'll also use the OEM covers on occasion (if they're functional and not a fuss to take on/off), otherwise they just stay in the extra bag for use when I rotate clubs

I got these made from dogleg designs on IG . Gina even got the original Nantucket red fabric from Murray’s togglery shop on the island. Only place you can get the fabric. They came out great now I just need a new bag lol.
