I've been around the block with golf bags lately. I've tried, owned, and subsequently sold just about everything (except my trusty Eliott leather Alistair) on the market before landing on the old faithful Ping Hoofer and it looks like it'll stick around for a while. It's light, very comfortable, and everything is right where it needs to be. I'm liking the rangefinder pocket, and just about everything else about this bag. I also liked this seasonal color scheme that they just made available, so I ordered it. Satisfied for now.

Got tired of having to rely on others to pull/install adapters along with other basic club work. A recent bad experience at a local shop was the final straw. Never had the balls to do more than just re-grip my clubs. Kicking myself for not buying all the club building tools sooner. I'm really enjoying tinkering, it's very therapeutic.

latest addition, just need to pull the stock Stiff Voodoo shaft and put in an X-Stiff im just not sure what yet. Low low shaft would defeat the concept of putting the 5 wood in the bag so possibly Tour Blue, im open to ideas

Went to the Santa Monica location of Club Champion and was fit into a new set of irons: Miura CB-1008 4i-PW (pictures of the irons will come once I pick up the set). Already owning Miura wedges, it was only fitting that I completed the bag with a Miura putter. Found this guy on another forum, and after one round, I'm already in love.
