Another for the Bose Sound sport - I think mine are “2” - brilliant sound quality and a clip.

I’ve accidentally washed mine 3 times now, just cal up Bose and tell them they aren’t charging correctly and bang new set in the mail. You won’t hear any complaints from me.

Anyone got any new recs here? I tried some apple AirPods at the range last week and the one on my right ear kept falling out.

Strange. I have the AirPods and they're my favorite piece of tech I've ever owned. I can literally do front flips on a trampoline and they stay in place absolutely perfectly. I use them during every round. I also use them when riding my bike. And running errands. Or doing dishes. Or talking on the phone with my actual phone in my pocket.

This had been my experience too (well, except for the front flips on a tramp). I tried a ton of other BT headphones, but the AirPods are by far the best. Surprisingly, they stay in my air very well--even when running or doing other workout stuff. they sound great, but you can still hear other major noise around you (like cars approaching behind you, etc.) If you have an iPhone, they are incredibly seamless, pairing quickly, responding to Siri commands, picking up your voice clearly when talking on the phone (even in windy weather). They are one of the best pieces of tech equipment I've ever bought.

agree with everything you said. One of the best christmas gifts my wife every got me. I didn't ask for them but they are so much better for golf and working out than anything else I've tried. The fact that you have the option to only use 1 AirPod and have the other ear open is a real bonus if you want to stretch battery life or wear one while playing and hear things going on around you on the course. On the few occasions i have played rounds as a single it has been a perfect way to listen to what i want, without bothering anyone else, while still being able to hear someone else yell fore.

Agree on AirPods, I have never had one fall out on the range or in the gym. The only complaint I have is their inability to block/filter outside noise, thus cannot wear them while mowing or using a snow blower lol

+1 for the AirPods, true audiophiles say they don't sound as good as other bluetooth headphones but to me they're perfect. Plus their usability/utility is pretty incredible.

Agreed. Thought I would hate them and use the 14 day return policy. My most used piece of tech besides the cell phone. Great for phone calls/conference calls and listening to music. Love them.

AirPods are great if they happen to be a good fit for your ears. They stay in great in mine and I don’t get ear pain from wearing them. They are also very convenient if you have Apple products like iPhone and iPad for seamless switching between devices. They also allow me to hear what is going on around me, which I like for in the office or on a course.

My kids have BoseSport Wireless. The sound quality is much better on the Bose and they definitely have more base. They come with multiple rubber inserts, so you are much more likely to get a good fit with these than the AirPods. Since they seal better, they do tend to block out noise more so you aren’t as aware of people around you. They are more expensive than the AirPods. They also stick out more and look a bit more strange than the AirPods if you care about that.

I’m personally glad I went with the AirPods because they fit my ears well, work very well with all my Apple products, and I am aware of my surroundings. If I was more interested in sound quality or the AirPods didn’t fit my ears properly, I would go with the Boes.

I’m not a fan of any Apple earbuds that I’ve tried. They always hurt my ears after a while. I have the Jaybird X2 earphones but I’ve not been able to get a good seal with them with any of the tips. I only really use those if I don’t care about hearing noise around me. I mainly use the Shure SE215-K-BT1 earphones. The cable is a bit long but I just use a rubber tie to get it to the length I like. A bonus is that I can use the Bluetooth cable with other earphones that have female mmcx connectors or use the earphones with wired cables with male mmcx connectors.

My new phone doesn't have a head phone jack but I already had a good pair of wired Bose sport earbuds that I like so I grabbed a $15 Bluetooth dongle on Amazon. Plug the buds in the dongle, clip it to my belt, run the wire inside my shirt and good to go. Essentially wireless and didn't have to spend a ton of money replacing an otherwise perfectly good set of earbuds.

I had the Powerbeats 2 (loved them) and this past weekend they got stepped on. Based on comments earlier in this thread the Jaybirds are recommended a lot. So I wanted to look into those. Based on this video and my personal experience with the Powerbeats2, I’ll be getting the Powerbeats3.

The 2’s were perfect for the Driving Range or Gym because they stayed in my ears, had great battery and good range from phone. And all those things have drastically improved apparently with the Powerbeats3.

- better adjustable over ear strap

- double battery life (12 hours)

- 5 min fast charge

- largest range from phone

I definitely recommend those because I keep them in the car and charge them every week or two and then and just grab them when I’m going to the gym or range.
