Just got a Cleveland Huntington Beach collection #2 Cleveland oversized grip

I got a HB #6, just love it. My BB43, is getting benched. It's not as sexy as all these other putters being shown on this thread, but for value cannot be beat.

Cameron Newport 2 Mid 43” Belly putter cut down to 34” (and aftermarket weights). I absolutely LOVE the looks of this as well as the feel/weight of the thicker shaft with the Pistolero. Played 2 rounds with it and it’s staying in the bag.

I'll post pics later on, but I just submitted my purchase order form to Lumpy for 2 handmade putters. A BB28 style blade and a Queen B9 style mallet. Going to be so cool looking. Both made of 1018 carbon... Can't wait.

Piretti Bosa

 

 

I thought I was done with putters for the year after bringing 3 in earlier and deciding to stick with my DH89...but all three of those were some variation of a blade putter like my DH89. One rainy day I found myself killing time in a golf shop just to kill some time. Started trying all the different putters for fun.

 

I had been wanting to try a face balanced model after seeing so many spiders and fangs on tour...but they just felt wrong to me no matter which I tried. Then I grabbed a Bettinardi BB32...a smaller mallet with a plumbers neck and all of a sudden I was spot on with my putts. Really like it but it was used and marked at $350....too much. So kept looking and found a Piretti Bosa that was also used and overpriced....okay, this one was downright beat up, but I did love putting with it. Same formula as the BB32, small mallet with a plumbers neck, and again it was just working for me.

 

So, quick search of eBay got me a brand new condition Bosa for a great price. Ordered one of my preferred grips, a Salty mid plus, for it and they both arrived today. Hated cutting a new condition leather Gripmaster off but we didn’t get along. Chopped it down to about 34” and slid the Salty on and well, I think I’m in love!

 

Now, I still love my DH89 too, it’s the best blade style putter I’ve ever used. But I fell that my stroke is more stable and consistent with this mallet and it’s bit of toe hand but not too much. Just feels like it naturally fits my stroke with zero effort on my part. Lots of putting mat putting going on this evening.

 

So yeah....a Piretti Bosa, can’t wait to get to th course with it.
