Yeti’s are great; I have a few RTIC coolers that are just as good at 1/2-1/3 the cost. Keep stuff nice & cold, only complaint is that the zippers are a little stiff.

The soft-sided Ozark Trails from Walmart are tough to beat for the price... like half of the Ozark products, they're a spot-on Yeti clone. I've used these as raffle give-aways at customer scrambles and, for $30, they're usually the first non-club item people pick, usually before the ProV1s and sometimes even before bags and less expensive putters (probably because they're more useful for the once-a-year golfers in attendance). I have a friend's wife cut our company logo in vinyl to put on the top and anyone who doesn't shop the Walmart sporting goods aisle thinks they're a much pricier item than they are, and they perform well above their price tag too.

Polar bear coolers. Have a 12 pk for just me and a 24 pk for me and a buddy. Keeps ice at least a day.

People buy Yeti’s still? There’s literally a dozen companies that make the same exact items with the same quality for 2 or 3x less than Yeti. You’re just throwing money away with that company. But to each their own.

Where are you guys playing that they allow you to bring a cooler on the premises (and with beer)? Unless you put a drink in the sleeve in your bag you don’t get past the starters in my area. Could be a state law in Maryland.

They all have laws regarding bringing beer on the course. There are also speed limits on roads, but do we always follow the laws/rules???

We have a local course that is County owned, $25 for a round and BYOB. I think there’s more people than teeth on that course on any given day. It is fun on occasion to play golf with a bottle of whiskey sitting in the cart though.

 

Most of my local courses won’t let you bring a cooler, and especially your own alcohol (the course can get fined and lose their liquor license, on top of whatever fine you get). In addition to bringing your own booze, the other problem is people leaving with the booze they bought. That is a separate liquor license (selling for off premises consumption), and again, they can lose their liquor license of you are caught with it.

I am gonna 3rd the Polar Bear coolers. Myself, my wife, my mother, and my best friend's all have them. They are soft sided and keep ice just as well as anything priced higher.

 

I believe they have a waterproof/leakproof cooler out now that is more expensive but for riding on a cart you can go with the cheaper nylon alternative.

No stickers, but in farm world, Yeti coolers are a thing. Flat bed pickups with a Yeti chained down. Not new money, it's more that everything farmers use costs so much that a Yeti is incidental.

For hard coolers yes there are tons of similar options at half the price. The soft coolers are not even close. Those are well worth the cost. The quality of material and zippers on the hoppers are so far ahead of other soft coolers.

My Cartner and I usually split 6packs. One of us will buy a sixer on the front, the other buys for the back. 6 is usually plenty for us, especially when you still have to drive home! Always have to be safe as well!

Another vote for polar bear coolers. I have the smaller one for golf and one of their book bag coolers that we use for the beach, boat and pool. Can’t say enough great things about the convenience and portability of the book bag cooler. Invest in some of the large ice packs to use instead of ice. Two of the ice packs inside the book bag cooler kept 5 ice cubes in a ziploc bag in solid form for over 36 hours inside my garage at 95deg Georgia heat with 65% humidity
