Best PW to go with Miura wedges (Y grind, 53 and 59)

Am looking to replace my Mizuno MP-25 pitching wedge, its a shovel, a full swing club and I'm looking for something to do different craps with.

Want a "transition" club which is not quite pure blade. Thinking of a Miura CB-1008.

Thoughts on that wedge? Any other suggestions?

The Miura CB57 PW is a nice compact size and feels great.

I agree with dmeeksDC, the Miura CB 57 would fit it nicely.

What about a Miura Y grind 49* bent to 48*. This is what I use. Great for finesse shots and works nicely on full swing.

Well, that’s my other club. I just got a 51 Y grind that I practiced with twice at the range and put it in play. The most versatile gap wedge I could ever want, out of rough, tight grass, whatever. I hit it about 115 full, but I also have developed a stop-and-hop 100 yard shot with this club that I took to the course snd it is really proving useful.

I think it fits great with any irons. My CB57 PW is more of a a straight-up full wedge. A really nice one too because that is truly a winner in head design. I don’t see much difference in forgiveness. Both are easy to swing and make crisp contact with the proper grip pressure.

These are two top-notch options, depending on how you plan to use them. I like putting a smooth 3/4 backswing on wedge shots to see how far they will go, and adjust my lofts accordingly. I have a far easier time repeating that 3/4 motion and keeping my body turning as well, and I get shots I can count on.

My PW I am hitting full more often. It is so nice into and out of the turf. Like throwing darts — right on target. It zips in and bites.

Starting with my gap wedge, I am hitting all kinds of shots. I bought the Y because I heard it was great off tight lies, which it is, but it is more than that. Nice bunker club.
