I have always enjoyed t seeing others witb posts, so I thought I would put one together.

 

Driver: Cobra BioCell. I bought this after seeing the positive reviews here on Golfwrx.

4 wood: Ping G15. I have tried a few different fairway woods in search of a little more distance, but keep going back to my G15.

3&4 hybrid: Cobra Baffler. The 3 hybrid is my go to club.

5-SW: Ping G25. I have always been a fan of ping irons. I don’t have plans to change my irons anytime soon.

LW: Vokey SM5. I redid the paint fill on this club to blue and yellow.

Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless. There have been many contenders who have attempted to knock this club out of the bag, but I still keeping coming back. It was originally 35” long, but I shortened it to 34”, added 10 grams of tungsten powder down the shaft, and installed a super stroke pistol gt 1.0. I also redid paintfill.

I like it. I had a larger super stroke for a while, but this one feels better in my hands.

I grew up in California, so the putter cover reminds me of my youth.

Played a round of golf today in some damp weather, so while I was drying everything out I took the opportunity to take some photos of a couple of changes to the bag which happened towards the end of the summer.

 

Cleveland CBX wedge. I saw these were getting good reviews here, so I though I would try one out. Found one used at Second Swing and put it in the bag. So far I really like it. Give me a little additional confidence around the greens.

 

 

 

Ping Vault 2.0 Dale Anser. Treated myself to a putter fitting at the end of the season. I really enjoyed the process. Found out I was using a putter too short and upright. It putts great in my basement, but I have only had it out for a few rounds. Looking forward to the Spring to really give it a good test.

 

 

 

 

Sun Mountain Bag. I played in the member guest with my brother in law and we won our flight. I selected this Sun Mountain bag with the course logo. A little worried about the white sections, but we will see how it goes.

 

 

 

With the weather getting cooler, there will be less golf for me. On the bright side, the course near my house just added an indoor simulator, so I will try to stay sharp this winter by playing a few simulated rounds.

Nice WITB update. Can’t wait to see the new upcoming driver and maybe a new set of irons. That putter was clutch in back-to-back birdies earlier today to salvage a good back nine.

New driver likely for next season. I will stick with irons at least one more season. Although the G400 irons are tempting .....

It has been a while, so I thought I would update my WITB. Since the last update I have picked up a few new clubs. I have swapped out the Cobra Bio Cell for a Taylormade M3. So far I like the change. I really like the looks of the M3 and it has performed well on the course. This is the first Taylormade driver I have had in the bag since the R5. I swapped out my Ping G15 fairway wood for a G400. I have the G400 set at 16 degrees so it plays like a 4W. So far I like it. I do like the matte finish. A few weeks ago on a whim I purchased a 5 hybrid. I saw a nice Ping G 5 hybrid and decided to give it a try. I like hitting my 5 iron from a tee box, but I have struggled at times from the deck. So far this has been a fun club to add to the bag. I have added some new head covers as well. I added Betsy Ross and camouflage War Bird covers from Rose and Fire for my hybrids. I purchased a new putter cover from Kiawah Island Ocean Course when I played there last year. We spent a week on Kiawah Island and it was fantastic. I played with a caddie which was the first time in about ten years. It was a blast. Finally a picture of Top Golf Las Vegas. Had a chance to play there when I was in Las Vegas earlier this year.
