Found a Nike Engage Square 56* for 3.99 at goodwill yesterday. Since it is a raw wedge, I coked it overnight, went and had it bent to 58* this morning and put on a fresh grip. Can't wait to put it through some testing tomorrow morning!

 

All in 16 bucks for a new wedge (which I needed). For real, it looks like someone bought it, hit a few balls then put it in their garage. Grooves are really sharp and show no wear at all.

...where? Obviously nobody knows anything about golf at your GW location! Here in Central Oregon they must have been trained to lookup club values before pricing because any of the sets are usually individually priced at $4.99-9.99+ per club and any of the good woods are usually between $14.99 and $24.99+

Cleveland Quadpro 13* Three and 19* Five with stiff graphite shafts. $6 total for both. These were my favorite fairway woods back in the day! They’ll be going directly in my travel bag (don’t care if they get lost by the airline clubs).

Just passed on a 15 and 19. I had the five wood in my hand, in line, but didn't want to wait. They are still great clubs. David Toms ace 2001 PGA...(I think he had the dual rail though...he had that thing in his bag forever..)

My travel bag is pure 2000’s sweetness: Titleist 983k, Quadpro 3 and 5 woods, Titleist 585.h hybrid, Titleist 735.cm 4-pw, Cleveland CG10 54* and a PING Pal putter. All thrift store finds, less than $90-100 for everything.

Ha. Well you must've went in there not long after me as I was about to purchase that 5 wood but I didn't wait in line to buy it. Glad a wrxer. got it though. I wouldn't hesitate to use it at all.

They are not personalized, the KVD stands for Ken Venturi Design...Not sure why I can remember that kind of stuff but can't remember what I ate for breakfast. Regardless, not really a valuable set, but for a buck a piece I probably would not be able to resist. Was it a complete set?

Exactly. Cast but as soft as any forging around. “Cavity Back” look with muscleback forgiveness or lack there of. Great irons but not forgiving.

Those Maxfli Revolution (Standards) were the best thing Dunlop ever made outside of the Australian Blades... quality clubs...

Yeah where you at? LOL Our local store seems to have only old dunlop, wilson, some knockoff brands, etc type clubs and nothing in full sets, always just partials. Same with woods and putter choices. I was in our store just today since I was running an errand and because I found a new in package Srixon leather golf glove that was my size for $4 so I bought it! That was the best deal and the nicest/best item I ever found there!

Not thrift store but a garage sale. Spent $20 and got this Anser 2 and a Superman cape for my 2 year old :)

Putter is in fantastic shape.

 

 

That looks like the Anser anniversary edition that goes for around $400

Found a couple nice things over the last couple of weeks.

 

Found a like new Datrek Lite Rider II cart bag in Navy and Lime Green (Go Hawks!) for $10.

 

Also found a set of Titleist DCI 762s, 4-GW with Graphite Design GAT 95 shafts. I'm excited to try graphite in irons, since I've always used dynamic golds. $3 a club for these.
