Makes me a little sad that I just bought my i200s two months ago. These look great.

Did you get them after the price drop??

Yes I did. They dropped the price the same week I ordered mine.

I am very happy with the i200s. I have always loved the shape of Ping irons, but the feel hasn't always been there for me. i200s check all the boxes. That being said, I like new things so I will probably at least give these a look. Of course there will need to be a big improvement from the i200 (which I don't think there will be) to shell out more $$$ for the i210s

I just paid $85 a club for i200s. No way these will be worth an increase of $50-$60 a club. Get your i200s while you can. Phenomenal irons that I can't see changing out of anytime soon. I went through 4 sets in two years before finally settling on these and getting custom fit. Plan to fully test the durability of these SS heads.

I bet these have an more improved feel compared to the i200 . It looks like that custom tuning port is slanted up higher behind the sweet spot putting more mass right behing impact mp64 and Taylormade MC with that black bolt , Bridgestone j40's etc come to mind as far as using that technique to improve feel .

two of my favorite iron designs.

i was thinking srixon 745 as well. maybe mp25s.

all have that triangle in the sweet spot that fits my eye so nicely.

What leads you to think that the new ones cost that much more? The i200s didn't originally, so I would expect these to be close in price to that, perhaps a slight increase.

Can I ask where did you get them for that price? I'm interested in getting a set.

I wish they'd offer the I series in forged heads. they did it with the new iblades why not these?

The Iblades are not forged.

Buy the Glide Stealth and take the finish off, did it to mine and they look great

how easy does the finish come off?

similar to a Vokey jet black?

little CLR action and boom, done!

I have about 10 rounds and some practice on my stealths and the finish is holding up very well, Im impressed

makes we wonder how hard it would be to fully remove and go RAW

PS - these fricken Glide Forged are perfect, absolutely perfect

They should be $100/club everywhere. Only way I know to get them cheaper is with an ebay coupon, which there happens to be one now that would drop an 8 club set to $700 (87.50/club) assuming you find your specs (probably a long shot). Also, sometimes big box stores allow their coupons on PING, but they're not supposed to.

Seems very steep, think they'll actually be $200?

Don't know of many of us account holders who are going to risk our account status by selling below what PING says retail price is. Lol. So, as Kenny Lee said, "Yes". $199 will be the price.

Short irons and long irons look like they are from two different sets. 7-PW look great but the longer irons look clumsy.

To be fair the i-series has always been a progressive set. Increased offset and blade length as the irons get longer.

This. The I series has stayed true to being a players cavity back with some forgiveness designed in. They have progressive blade length and offset. Wider soles and more bounce. I can't imagine that ever changing because then you are left with the iblades.

i210 look great. Definitely looks like Ping is trying to aesthetically match their other sets better. I can see these blending aesthetically much better with the iBlades. The shape is a bit reminiscent of S55, but thicker. They look great. Wedges look amazing.

Highly doubt the Boss will approve that transaction and to be honest, I am not so sure I want to even try them. I really love my current set up and all the grooves are still good so I don't really feel the need to change. Ping did an excellent job though!

Dynamic Gold 105 will be stock in i210.

Would be cool if they offered the DG 120 as well. Hope they aren't moving away from having PING shafts though, between the Z-Z65, CFS, and AWT they have had some great shafts that fit lots of people. They still have several of their pros in Z-Z65 and CFS X.

DG 120 became an option with the G700 launch and will continue with the new stuff. Now the product i saw had the 105 in the i500 and 120 in i210

WOW... both the irons and wedges are absolutely gorgeous. The irons look like their significantly less offset than what is normal for their "i" iron line. I can honestly say I would be willing to try those out and give them a go if they play as good as they look.

I have a feeling that these are going to be back-ordered for a month or longer if they are as good as they look. When the PING i20 irons first came out I was selling two sets every day... but it helped that they performed unbelievably well too. I actually think these are the best looking irons they've put out in recent memory... maybe even better looking than the S55 which I didn't think would ever happen for a PING.

Hey PING... I will take a set of the irons & wedges, specs as follows:

i210 (3-9, P, U)- Dynamic Gold S400 Tour Issue, Std Length, Blue Dot, Tour Velvet 58R logo down

Glide Forged (54 & 60)- Dynamic Gold S400 Tour Issue, Std Length, Black Dot, Tour Velvet 58R logo down

Thanks!!

LOL

PS- If there is a 2 iron I will take that too... PXi 6.5 though @ +1/2", Yellow Dot

XHP 3-Deep (13)- 7.3X @ 43.5”
X-Forged UT (#3- 21)- DG X700
716MB (5-PW)- DG S400
Vokey (TVD SM7 RAW 52 & SM6 RAW 58)- DG S400
Cameron Napa California @ 34"
