I’ve got a couple. They’re very nice shirts and down here in the Southeast, they’re fantastic if you have to spend any time outside but still need to be dressed business casual.

That said, I have not worn one to golf in and don’t see me wearing one on the course anytime soon. If I needed coverage or had a sensitivity to the sun, I’m sure they’re the answer. But for me, they’re great for work and not likely to see the course.

Exactly right. I used to practice law in central Florida. 5 block walk to the courthouse in a suit and tie multiple times a week. It was hot year around down there, but unbearable in the summer. More than once I had to go home after the walk to change my shirt. I used to comment all the time that someone should make a white “business dress” shirt out of the quick dry materials they use to make the Columbia fishing shirts. That’s essentially what Mizzen & Main has done. I’d buy a bunch for work, but they’d never see the course.

I have a feeling that this is how 90% of these will be worn. They should be really great for business travel as well (fewer wrinkles out of the suitcase or walking off a flight) but the price point is too rich for me. I'd consider a couple at $50-$75 each to use exclusively for business travel. Being able to go straight from a business meeting to the course might come in handy on occasion, but I probably wouldn't ever plan to wear one of these for a round.

I bought one to try it out. No doubt I could play golf in it, but I most likely won't. It is more comfortable than any dress shirt I own, but I haven't quite decided if it is really a dress shirt. My work is business/business dress and I haven't gotten quite used to the look under a gray suit. If I was business casual or even sport coats it would be fine. At the price point it is playing in, I can get a shirt cut to size and the M&M shirts come sized like a golf shirt - M,L,XL. The neck is good for me, but to have a proper fit I should have the sleeves taken up about a half inch, and then we are really getting into a high price range. I really like being able to wash and hang to dry without ironing. By not taking it to the dry cleaner, I'm saving a couple of bucks a wear. If I had a really important meeting, I would go back to a crisp pressed cotton shirt.

It is really comfortable, if it holds up for a long time, they might end up being my shirt for ordinary days.

I have about 5 of them and love them. The only thing i do not love is the price point. I have only paid full price for one of them. All others I got the "Last Chance" price of $75 which I feel is respectable.

I am an XL Slim Tall and the are cut perfectly for me.

They aren't making them for the golf course, they are selling them as work shirts.

The whole point of Phil wearing them to play is to send the message they are comfortable, flexible, adaptable etc...
