I do not own a pair of white pants. I do, however, own a couple pairs of white shorts. I will only wear them if the weather has been fairly dry and I don't think I will encounter any mud on the course. Wore them a couple of weeks ago and one of my foursome said I was stupid for wearing white shorts that they would be filthy by the end of the round...proved him wrong.

Just picked up a new pair of white shorts today from PGA Superstore. Too bad I have to take them to get 1” chopped off & won’t get to wear them for almost two weeks. 10” inseams are way worse than what color you’re wearing.

I am here to say that white pant/shorts are 100% acceptable on the course. Golf courses are that one place where you can dress as wild as you want. Is it before Memorial Day? Yes. Is it over 65 and sunny? Yes. Go ahead and wear those white pants or white shorts. Wear pink pants. Wear yellow pants. Wear those argyle Loudmouth pants! There is an old saying, "look good, play good."

We've heard the flak on here for years about white pants, but I don't get why white shorts got thrown in to this? White shorts are awesome in warm/hot weather, especially on a vacation rounds / golf trip rounds where some guys like to wear their brighter colored shirts. Heck; they match just about any color shirt you have, and to me that's the key to a solid look.
