Looks like a Titleist driver. They don't push the envelope, and they may not have the highest ball speeds of all available options, but they perform. I'm intrigued to try them.

Hummm. The 2 has that slightly pointy triangular rear end that the Callaway’s have. Yuck.

3 shape looks familiar. Bottom sure is dull. I guess dull is good with me. Wonder what sort of miracles the marketing guys will claim are going on inside?

D2 has looked weird since the 909, reason I always get the D3

So Titleist said, "Let's make our new driver have the same shape as the Callaway Epic. Yeah, that works, but the sole design should have the same look and weight port as the PING G400. OK, done. Wait, why not make the graphics design look like Taylormade's R9? Alright, now we've got something here. Let's charge, say, $549 -599 and we can sit back for two years, knowing we're way behind everyone in driver tech... again!"

Forgive me for my ignorance. But I know the D3 is 440, will the TS3 be 440 as well?

It looks like it.

D3 has been the pear shaped deeper face head.

D2 has been the elongated triangle

Unless they have crystal ball, probably started working on this iteration years ago others were not around to copy.

would have liked to leave off the "TS" on the leather cover.

Then it would just be a plain Titleist headcover

..and that would be fine with me. clean - classic look to it.

The free one is to market the new line.

Acushnet picked up a company named Links and Kings earlier this year that makes what your looking for. I picked up a set and there can be no better.

I think you meant to say "behind in marketing". The marketing of Callaway & Taylormade is what drives those OEM's to the top is driver sales. Jailbreak, hammerhead, dragonfly, turbulators it's all a bunch of marketing jargon not technology, You might perceive it as technology because it's something new and you can see it on the club head. When it comes down to it I believe that you will see the these drivers will perform as well or better than any of the top OEM's.

I feel like this one has potential to be a dud. If that happens would titeliest panic and release a revision after just 6 months? A-la tmag? Lol

So now, they are moving away from the recoil channel? Was that all just marketing bologna?

Everything is marketing bologna. Lol

Walter: Tell me Bobby, why do you play this game?
Bobby: I play because I love it.
Walter: Well I play for the money. I have to win. That is why every time we face each other I will always beat you.

Like most here... they both look good, but the lack of visible tech has me concerned that it may just be another run of the mill Titleist offering. Even if the other OEM's tech is just marketing, it creates perceived value. Also, disappointed that we don't see multi material. I just don't see anything innovative.

Without any insight into the tech or performance numbers, the only thing these drivers really have going for them is that they say "Titleist" on the side.

Will be Interesting to see when the Youtubers get their demo's and release the review videos.

anyone else feel like they're kinda just...meh?

the shape looks like others mentioned very callaway rogue-ish -- but otherwise it's just simple. i know folks will like it for sure - very intrigued how the TS3 sounds. also, if the rogue 130 platinum is the stock shaft, a LOT of guys will flock to this driver.

Meh was my first thought. But i also haven't been a titlesit driver fan since after the j-vs, way back...

So you think a company should go the multi material route for perception even though it does nothing for performance. Just more cost and a higher rate of failure? Makes sense.
