That ties the career total of Julius Boros and Nick Price among others.

 

He goes back to #1 in the world.

 

He becomes the first man to win at least twice on the tour three years in a row since...well Jordan did it last year, but it doesn't happen often.

 

Sweet win for DJ! He is smoothly building a great career. Just entering his prime years.

Oh man, dont feel so good. Made like 2 4lb steaks, mushrooms, peppers on the grill. My face smells like a bbq and cognac. Need a nice ice cream cone.

I came in the bar at the turn today to grab a couple brewskis and walked right into DJ's eagle from 171 yards and the whole place erupted! That was awesome timing. You gotta put your money on DJ to win the Open now.

 

Also, I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but does it look like DJ lifts the putter up on his take away? I noticed it on every putt he lifts it directly up first kinda like how Kucher hovers on his take away. Looks strange.

Stunning performance from DJ. His ballstriking was off the charts amazing gaining almost 17 strokes Tee to Green, with only 4 strokes from his Putting... this produced a win by 6 shots. Wow.

Yeah he does. It think its a pretty common thing. I know Rickie does it too.

 

Yep, couple different guys do it a little differently. I think Matsuyama does something sort of similar but he kind of bounces it once before takeaway. I know Rickie has said hovering helps him feel the weight of the club more versus leaving it sit on the ground/drag on the takeaway.

he signed it and gave it to her. the panned the camera to Putnam finishing, but right before they cut away from DJ, he is signing and walking to her.

 

I'm pretty shocked at how many people aren't giving him the benefit of the doubt just because the camera isn't on him. Dude has 2 kids of his own, and has a junior golf foundation...each of which he prides himself on. But he'd definitely leave a girl with a sickness and disabilities hanging like a POS. What a time we live in.
