I had not heard that.

 

That Kyrie deal looking back now is horrible. They moved up about 20 spots in the draft and got Nance Jr and Clarkson. Seems like they could have gotten a lot more than that. At least a legit starter in return.

I would agree but Kyrie is not exactly mr durable and could potentially walk. A lot of that trade rides on what Kyrie does next season and beyond. Also what is the pick Cle got turns into something good. It takes a few years to really judge a trade.

But with this trade the variables are laid out. No where in the league have a 5 ft 5 point guard dominated. It was essentially a lottery pick and spare parts for a finals winning point guard with 2 years left on his contract at the time.

 

Ainge could essentially flip kyrie now for a lot better than what Cavs made out.

 

To me the story leak and damage control was set in. The panic button went hard on Cavs management.

Lonzo is an ideal teammate for LeBron. Because James takes away lonzo's biggest flaw right now which is having to create against pressure. Lonzo could just knock down shots, run fast breaks , rotate the ball in his unique way...etc. James would be the point guard so to speak

seemed to be the perfect spot for him. small market with minimal press and the dude doesn't interview. the most you hear is if they interview him right after the game or at practice. had a max contract. the best coach and front office. good team. steal of the 2011 draft.

If they go aggressive I agree. But Larry nance, the 8 pick, plus Thompson for salary is not horrible
