Bending 1996 Callaway Big Bertha Gold Irons?

I just got a set of old school Big Bertha Gold Irons off of Craigslist for a song and tried a few clubs out at my local driving range and was really impressed with the feel and penetrating ballflight. There is a real possibility that these could kick out my 845s out of my bag.

 

Anyways I digress. Sorry.

 

Can these clubs be bent to my preferred loft and lie angle? I'm a Ping Orange Dot kind of guy. Has anyone had experience bending clubs made of Aluminum Bronze?

Interested too... I've wanted to dry the Bertha in either '94/'96/'02/'04 vintage pretty much since I started golfing in the summer of '97, and the Golds are one of the more interesting variants that pop up.

Yeah. I got these for a song and bought them on a lark. I took a few clubs to the driving range for shitz and giggles and first took a few swings with its sand wedge. Felt solid and went my usual sand wedge length but what surprised me is that they were off its toe!!

 

What really surprised me is that when I got them grooved in (had stock graphite shafts in regular flex, nothing special) is that the ballflight was a lot more penetrating on the longer irons than my other player's clubs in my stash than I expected, just as penetrating as my steel shafted 845s and felt just as well.

 

I just off the phone with Callaway's Customer Service and they told me they won't touch them since they don't have the proper equipment available to bend them, let alone reshaft them.

 

If any clubmaker out there has experience in bending irons made out of aluminum bronze (doesn't have to be Callaways) I would really appreciate your input.

I just got back from my local Golftown to have the clubs regripped. Out of curiosity, I had them check the loft and lie angle of the PW. I was shocked to learn that the PW is still at factory specs after all these years (46.5d loft, 65d lie) instead of a few degrees off like most used irons in my experience.

 

That tells me that the metal would be quite difficult to bend.
