Sorry, just can’t watch a non Major LPGA Tournament over the men’s US Open this week!

Watched the US Open all day but checked the LPGA scores and the girls continue to amaze me! Tuesday, I talked with Morgan Presell’s caddie and asked him where the course ranks in terms of difficulty. He felt it is definitely more difficult than the average course. Having walked the course, to see a couple of 8-under rounds posted, in addition to a number of low scores, is quite impressive.

Played a pro am at Blythefied a few years back, it's no pushover. It's always impressive to see the ladies carve it up to the tune of -20 or so.

 

Hard matchup against the US Open and on Fathers Day weekend but the Meijer always draws good crowds. Probably not going to make it out this year but it's such a well run event.

Lydia makes a 12 footer for birdie on the 1st. Annie misses an 8 ft eagle attempt, and settles for a birdie.

Nelly misses the green short on the par 3 2nd, chips to 4 feet, but lips out her par putt.

3rd is an elevated tee. Lydia 250, Nelly 260, and Annie 285. All hit approaches to within 15 ft.

Par 3 4th playing 195 yards, and all three on the green. Furthest away is 25 ft. Amazing.

Par 5 playing 545. Nelly in the right fairways bunker at 255 yards. Lydia 10 yards ahead in the fairway. Annie 30 yds ahead.

 

Nelly stcks her 3rd to within a foot for a tap in birdie. Annie to 2 ft for an easy birdie, too. Lydia makes it 3 for 3 from 6 ft.

Par 3 6th playing 167. Nelly hits it pin high on the left fringe, chips it close for a tap in par. Annie on at 30 ft, and makes an easy par. Lydia from 15 ft burns the edge.

8th. Nelly in the right fairway bunker. Lydia left rough even with Nelly at 250 yds. Annie left rough 10 yards ahead.

 

Nelly to 15 ft from the left rough. Lydia to 5 ft with a wedge. Annie had a horrible lie in the left rough and left it way short.

 

Nelly drops it in the side door for birdie. Annie cleans up for par. Lydia makes her birdie.

Sura is very shy...if she doesn't want people to notice her she shouldn't shill for Parsons....it's pretty obvious she's Lydia's sister...Asian gal in the gallery with a PXG hat....but I think very few people will go up and chat with her.

Lexi hits a 300 yard drive on the par 5 5th, hits 3 wood 240 yards to 5 feet, and misses the eagle putt. That hurts. Ariya missed a shorter birdie putt, so the hole location must have been a tough read.
