Srixon Golf Balls

My golf galaxy doesn’t care how many you buy.

I Picked up 5 dozen XV’s yesterday to add to the 12 dozen I bought two months ago on the 6 ball trial pack blow out.

There were only about 8 dozen left. I probably should have just got all of them. I’ll regret it when I run out in 2 or 3 years! LOL!

Carl's Golf Land has no minimum free shipping right now, but still has the two dozen limit. However you can hit up Dick's, Golf Galaxy, and Academy for free shipping as well and get two at a time at each site. Amazon (shipped and sold by Amazon) appears to be sold out at the moment.

I just ordered 3 dozen from carlsgolfland less than 2 hours ago.

Well it shows a 2 dozen limit on the page  but it let me add more to the cart. Did not try to check out because I have already bought more than I will need for a while, but glad to stock up on them at this price.

Well I got the email from carlsgolfland cancelling one dozen citing the 2 dozen limit. At least those 2 dozen have already shipped

No its just Srixon flushing inventory before the new balls roll out.

Yeah I would think this is the case too or they are trying to get rid of a ton of inventory and raise some funds. Either way, they got some from me as I got a couple dozen of each flavor on its way.

While this thread continues to grow, the threads on golf ball hoarding/stashes should go up too! lol

Is this the best deal in golf ball history, 20 for Z stars. Is this an answer to the Snells and Cuts of the world? Not a bad strategy, they will gain followers and then get the rates back up. Even Q Stars, Soft Feels were 10 bucks. Not bad. Today, I felt silly getting my wife (atleast I had a coupon) Wilson Woman's Duo's, matte white, for 22, when the Z stars were 20. But, she has a very slow swing speed. 29 compression is a better fit.

You should try the Maxfli Softfli's for her. They were $8 a dozen plus ship and came in yellow, orange and pink I believe. That was a sale deal just last week or so.

That is a good idea. The Softfli's have really cool colors. But, the Duo Soft Women's with the blue shield against the matte white ball looks awesome. I may need to take one for a spin. It's too bad they call it a womens ball. The specs are the same as the other optix balls. It would have been a great seller.

I just hit 20 dozen XV’s including the dozen I just ordered at GG on line for $16. Need to quit now since I hurt my knee and I can’t even play right now.

Yeah I be the white with blue looks good! I have some orange Softfli's that I don't need if you want them, trade or sell cheap! :)

I find this bit weird. Srixon ran same $20/dozen when they first launched this z star line. Albeit at limited stores. Now it's same and I feel like it created huge firestorm.

I like srixon's strategy. Hit the market first with a bang. Milk the cow for few months and go out with a bang!

They aren't doing the current sale to make a splash. This is clearing their shelves to make space for new product and at least getting cents on the dollar for it.

Isn't there only so much product that consumers can buy or does the industry bank on running sales or adding new balls only to sit in people's garages or the back of ones closest.

I don't think new release is arriving until next year. This is just to bring up the numbers.

The Srixon Z-star XV 2017 version is my favorite ball of all time. If golf balls were free I'd still play this ball. The fact that you can get them for $20 is insane. I got hooked originally due to the $10 for six deal when the balls were released. I bought one pack of Zstars and one pack of the XVs, been hooked ever sense.
