Well, Duf told me what he's got into 3 sets of irons and 15 wedges and while it was discounted, it's more that most all of us would want to pay.

More along the lines per set I was quoted as well. About the same as a used set of gen 1 PXGs.

One question: Duf is routinely carries some of the best TrackMan Combine scores. Curious if he noted any specific improvements with this new set, or if his Combine numbers/performance influenced the design of this set of irons?

Do we have the specs on Dufner's irons/wedges? It would be interesting to know his lofts on these irons and wedges. He is playing awesome, maybe National should make him a putter.

4 iron is at 23 degrees with a 5 degree gap to his 5 iron then 4 degree gaps down to his pw. So 23, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48. I dont know what the wedge lofts are.

Duf has basically become Ryan Moore circa the mid2000s when Scratch first came on the scene. Don White has always made the highest quality clubs, and these are damn near identical in shape to the Scratch irons Moore used to play that were built by DW.

 

I personally play a Gap (52* bent to 53*) and a Lob (58* bent to 59*) DW grind Scratch wedges, and they are easily the best wedges I have ever had in my hands. Been playing them for three seasons and won't get rid of them until they have no grooves left.......or until I buy a new set of DW grind wedges.
