Miura 56 K Real or Not-So-Real?

I'm not an expert in Miura, I just know how much I loved demoing one.

 

Does this look like the real deal or not? Thanks.

I wouldnt call myself an expert but that would have to be a phenomenal fake. I'm pretty confident that is a genuine k grind and you have nothing to worry about.

I'm not really in the camp that there are any magic clubs, but after two rounds with the Miura K 56, I'm rethinking that. It is a fantastic tool. Why it works so well actually perplexes me. I can do more with it than either of my Vokey M grinds, which makes no sense, as there is less relief on the heel of the Miura.

 

I love hitting soft pitches with it. Distance control is more precise than the Vokey.

 

I'm already thinking about getting a Miura 60 next.

I vote for its fake..the finish isn't right..to much space between the slots on the sole..the ferrule has been ground also.. my two bucks...

I vote for its fake..the finish isn't right..to much space between the slots on the sole..the ferrule has been ground also.. my two bucks...

 

One of the odd (for Miura) inconsistencies of the K grind is in the fluting. I have a bunch of these clubs (probably 10 in total) and no two are ground exactly alike in terms of depth, width of flute, and overall width of pattern. I’ve always presumed that it’s because they’re done by hand.
