What putter do you have in the bag?

How is your paint job holding up? I like the Spider ... I hate the finish TM puts on all their clubs, but especially their putters. I would want to refinish one if I got it.

I've always liked the 2 ball system for alignment, so I went looking for a tour issue with this neck.

My buddy owns an body shop and he said he’d make any color I wanted. I Just started looking through some color catalogs. Blue is my favorite color.

 

I added the black afterward because I like the top of the blade having its own distinct color. Seems to Help me line it up.

 

And yes. The white that TM uses chips if you just look at it sideways.

Honestly. I did it on a whim. I should have stripped it down to the aluminum and started with an automotive primer. I didn’t. I just scuffed it with 120 sandpaper everywhere, carefully taped off everything I didn’t want coated, and gave it 3 coats with an eBay Airbrush kit.

 

It Worked just fine, but it is still a bit delicate beacause I didn’t start from bare metal. If I knock it too hard on something it will still chip. I’m pretty obsessive about using the headcover now.

SeeMore MFGP SS. Best putter I’ve ever owned. Excellent materials. Feel is mighty fine, and it’s turned putting into my strength. At 57, I’ll take it. The list of putters I’ve gotten rid of is quite long, and the remaning two I have are and old Anser and a bullseye. Both have sentimental value and don’t get used.
