haven't heard anything about this either. i had heard about a 340cc model, the one tiger originally used, but it never happened. there is the dfi in japan, but its been out a couple of years. you would think it would it have made it to america by now if it was going to happen.

i apploud nike ;) that they aren't replacing there lines every year or 9 monthes like some companies. the pro combos went 3 years? before any change or improvement. they haven't touched the blades. they've added some lower (but very good) end products to give them a wider variety of options to more players.

if i had to guess, if they are looking at anything to improve upon it would be there putter line. they're strong with the ignite driver and fairway woods. they just released the nds and new pro combos, and they've got the new sv wedges. really its there putters that are lagging. just my opinion :busted_cop:

I think if Tiger didn't use the Ignite 460 so well and hit those distances with it and winning tournaments again the Ignite would be replaced already!

No doubt about that. I'm sure we'll see them coming out with some type of composite head in the future. With the success Cleveland has bee having and definitely Callaway next month with the retail release of the FT3, Nike will have to come out with something for 2005. I'm just amazed we haven't seen anyone playing a prototype of some new driver. The putter's seem to be the only "new" thing they've been working on.

I don't think its been out that long there. When I was there that was the driver that was in all the golf mags. It's also a lot mt expensive then the ignite there. I think the ignite is about 500$ The dfi is about 800$ 88,000 yen. Clubs there aren't cheap.

Yeah when i was there in april it seemed like the DFI was pretty new. Also, they have the Ignite+, but as i cant read japanese im not sure what the difference between the regular ignite and the "+" is.
