True Linkswear True Knit

Has anyone seen the new knit shoe True Linkswear just announced? It looks like a pretty sweet summer shoe for on or off-course. They are available for pre-order now, and I was curious to see if anyone had seen them or tried them on at PGA Show, etc. If so, how does the fit/width compare to the True Original? Ordered this morning after I received the email about the launch. I should have checked for a code but they are probably a fair price at retail. I’ve been looking for a shoe like this for summer golf and “24-7” wear, looking forward to trying them out.

 

They are a 4mm drop (for those who care) and have a bit softer insole so should feel pretty flat.

Me too, but I will most likely wear with socks anyway. I’ve worn socks for so long shoes feel weird without them.

I order a pair too, and one for my wife. They look like a perfect summer shoe. It says the Knit has a waterproof spray on it and will work to keep dry with morning dew. I'm not sure how long the spray will last and you can reapply I'm sure, but would that make them less breathable?

 

The Outsiders are great shoes. I've logged about 10 rounds and they feel great. Great to see True back to their old roots.

Looking forward to seeing reports as to how these fit. True site says to size up if you're a half size and that they'll fit up to EEE width. I like the new Originals quite a bit but they are a hair small and narrow for my stupid duck feet.

Eagerly awaiting my shipping notice. Have a pair of gray knits on the way. Excited to once again have a TRUE shoe I can wear during the day and then stop by my club to practice or play a few holes without having to change.

Mine are scheduled to arrive this Friday. Unfortunately UPS tends to come in the evenings at my house so I won’t get to test them on the course for a few days.

Just noticed... They're only in Gray and Blue? That's kinda a bummer... was hoping for white/light gray.

Got em! Won't have an on course review until after Friday's round, BUT first impressions are very very good.

 

Fit is awesome, comfort is high, and weight is low. They look even better in person than the photos. At some angles in photos the toe box could look a little irregular/wide, in person they look fantastic. Easily can see myself wearing these off the course, either with shorts or jeans. Things I appreciated that didn't come across in photos is the leather pull strap in back with "TRUE" and "KNIT" stamped into it, and square leather patch on the tongue with True logo. Small things that add to its style and make it more than a boring golf shoe.

 

Will add more as I wear them, and post round on Friday.

Received blue today; they fit nicely; I had ordered a half size smaller with originals; ordered normal size (10). I have a narrow fit and they fit great. Anxious to try on the golf course!!
