Has anyone tried the copper inserts for methods from bigfootgolf? Considering buying a putter just to try it.

 

I had ordered and the product never showed up. It had fallen out of the tiny unsealed plastic bag and flipped out of the regular mail envelope and was denied refund. After about a month of BS eBay finally issued me a refund for this. After roughly 20 or so eBay purchases this was my only problem, so I can not recommend him. Buyer beware.

 

I’m going to go to spryevo on insta when I have a bit more time to tinker around with my game/stick. He has more options available and can even do milling. Good luck! My matter B2-05 is an amazing putter which is stupid easy to get it on the right target BUT the current insert is gross as it feels like I’m hitting the ball with a cloud with no feedback. I need a more solid feel. This is coming from a Ping Karsten Answer 2 for the past 8 years.

I bought a copper insert from him a couple years ago for a Method Matter B2-01 that I refinished to silver...wish I had never sold that putter!

 

It was basically a Nike Buttonback for under $125!

I’m assuming it was softer then? I quite fancy trying it. I know it defeats the purpose of the whole method thing, but I don’t like the idea of copper.

My favourite putter.

I’ve started experimenting with shorter 33 inch sticks, but I think it’s time to chop this and put it back in. My one issue with it is that due to the face being quite hard, if you use crappy balls, it doesn’t feel very nice at times.

The feel reminds me of my old Karsten TR Zing but a little clickier. I can see where it would feel harsh with a 2 piece ball. I play Pro V or Hex Chrome+ so the feedback is perfect for me.

Newest. Question on the shaft. Few of the tour stocks that I had have all have a steppless shafts. This one is brand new, but a TT shaft with steps.

Probably was originally sold by Dallas Golf on eBay. They bought a ton of Nike Oven stock and added stepped shafts to them upon selling online.

Does anyone have an origin B1 01 or B1 14 with a sight dot or no alignment aid they would like to sell? I love the look of the Origin but can not stand the flange sight line, for some reason a sight dot is easier to align

Got to go to the Quickens Loans National today. It really looked like Molinari was using a Method Putter, but I could not get a good look at the face up close. Looked like the Method milling on the face though from a few feet away.

Yeah it had Tiger’s name on it I think, but I doubt he used it in a tournament. The sole still had the OTR stamping and logos, where Tiger always had his sole blank.

I had a naked B2-01 that I got a top line added to at PutterSpa. No dramas at all.

I have a Nike Method Core Drone 2.0 with a SS Fatso 5.0 counter core grip. This putter has been money for me through the years and I never see it leaving my bag. Someday I'll paint the sight line red to give it a personal touch. Do I have to get rid of the black first or can I just paint over it?

Method days are officially over. It was a blast while it lasted with the 001. Someone who still plays a 100% NIKE set (so baller) got it...so it is in good hands :)

 

I now wait for the New-in-box putters on EBay to drop in price from the $1k level.
