Thanks for the insight on his sponsorship. I am curious why he isn't listed as a staffer on the TM website. Or maybe he is and I just didn't look hard enough. Or maybe he isn't in their top tier rightfully so with the talent they now have on their roster. It's not like they are advertising Chez Reavie on their website.

He's had that hybrid forever. He also had an SLDR TS in the bag with a DI-7x for the longest time.

 

Frankly, I was surprised when he finally moved away from that SLDR fairway as he hit that thing on a rope... looks like he wont be making the same mistake with the hybrid lol

Kaymer has always been slow to change equipment from what I remember, he had a super old Ping putter in his bag forever

 

Fair play to him, if the new stuff doesn't out perform the old or it doesn't feel right then don't change

So disrespectful man, c'mon. Comparing a two-time major winner to Chez f****** Reavie? That's a joke.

 

Hybrids / fairways are such feel clubs, no wonder he's sticking with the SLDR. I'm sure that he's just super confident with it and it flies the perfect distance. Safe to say the new "tech" on the M3/M4s wouldn't offer enough of a benefit to actually make it worth switching.
