WoSports W600 Rangefinder??

Has anyone every tried one of these? They're even cheaper than the TecTecTec models on Amazon and come with slope. Reviews on there seem good but I could only find one guy mention them on the forums here and it was back in December.

Hoping there's been some more experiences/opinions since then. Would love to get an MGGolf one as a cheap laser w/scope but they don't ship to Canada.

I've been using my Wosports rangefinder now for a few months. This is the model that includes adjustment for slope. I've been really happy with it so far - distances consistent with what my buddy gets with his Bushnell.

Downsides? Yes - this model has had complaints about how insecurely the battery cover plate screws into the unit. This is true - it seems to be a less-than-positive connection. I knew this from reading prior reviews and I'm pre-emptively holding it on with a fat rubber band. Should a brand new rangefinder need a rubber band? No - of course not, but for $115, it's an acceptable compromise for a product that, otherwise, works great out on the course.

I can't comment on durability or longevity. We'll see as time goes on, but for now it's a thumbs up. It makes my rounds faster and more efficient.

My wife actually bought me one for our anniversary, I'd echo the same thing. Super happy, distances seem spot on. I haven't had any battery cover issues myself so far.

Only dislike (and I've never had a laser so not sure if this is true of other machines or a computer chip flaw in the pin-locking tech) is that when I've got lots of trees behind the green it'll sometimes struggle to grab the pin/flag.

I have one.

I suggest using duct tape on the battery cover as a safety.

I lost a battery cover already but the company easily sent me another one as a replacement.

the only downside to this laser is the optics aren't as great as my old leupold but its good enough

the distances are pretty spot on compared to my leupold and it sometimes requires a couple more tries in certain situations

FYI: Got it Friday, used it Saturday. It could not pick a pin up further than 150 yards. No beuno. Already printed out the return shipping label.

On a side note: Stopped at the PGA Super Store today to check out range finder. The new Nikon Coolshot with Stabilizer is incredible. Not sure how that stability tech works.... but it does. The Nikon Coolshot 80 VR is as awesome. It doesn't have slope but it does have the stabilization tech. And if you hurry, you can pick one up at GolfGalaxy.com for $250 with coupon JULY2018.

Weird, mine has been within 3-4 yards of the GPS on my phone up to about 240 out.

(not that it loses accuracy past that but I haven't tried it from further out, to be clear)

you could reach out to the company, they will easily replace it for you

if you have shaky hands most lasers will give you a hard time, but yours sounds pretty messed up if it can't hit at 150

Mine's solid well out to 250 for flagsticks. Sure, if the background is "noisy", then it'll struggle more, but I've tested it against the Bushnells that my golf buddies have and it's the same story with those. Sometimes I prop an elbow against my driver in the bag to help steady it.

With a clear background or if I happen to be playing courses with the newer, reflector-equpped flag sticks, which are getting pretty common around here, then it's super reliable out to long range. Played a course just a few days ago where there were two par 3's - one at 210 and one at 221. This rangefinder picked up both quickly on a single try.

That all said, the only time I need to know if something is that far out (230+) are forced carries from the tee box. From the fairway the only "precise" distances I need to know are those in my hybrid/iron/wedge range.

No doubt, those stabilized Nikon models sound really nice.
